About Me
I am friendly, approachable , kind and honest, always willing to help others.
I live with my daughter who is currently aged 16 years old and enjoys taking part In activities during the school holidays with the children I look after. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac area of Uttoxeter with two good size gardens, spacious rooms and a playroom.
We have a hamster called Acorn, no other pets at the present.
I enjoy ice skating, DIY, up cycling, in my spare time.
My Experience
Registered OFSTED Childminder since March 2007.
Having a family of my own and having looked after children in my care ,I have experience and knowledge of all age groups. I am passionate about my role and will always endeavour to supply an outstanding setting where both children will feel at home.I enjoy doing a variety activities and going on outings with the children I care for, with regular trips to the Library, Parks, Forest Schools and Playgroups.
I am keen on doing creative activities where children can use their imagination with arts & craft, baking, music and outdoor play.
My Qualifications
I am qualified in NVQ level 3 in Child Development. I have also completed many courses including:
NVQ Level 2 Home based Childcare ,
Early Years Foundation Stage Principles into Practice and Development/Welfare Requirements, EYFS in Awareness, Safeguarding Children, Letters and Sounds, Creativity and Critical Thinking, Equality & Diversity, Raising Boys Achievements.
I am Paediatric First Aid Trained and have my Food & Hygiene Certificate..
I really enjoy my work and I am always attending new courses and all courses are refreshed every 3 years .

Hours of work - 0800-1800 Monday- Friday
After school pick up - Picknalls School Uttoxeter

My Fees

My fees are £4.30 per hour.
Children provide their own food. However healthy snacks/ fruit drinks available.
Contracts are completed, if you require a place at my setting.
