My name is Nuala, I have a passion for working with kids in particular early years, and have experience in several different childcare environments. I have completed the OCN Level 4 Maternity Nurse Qualification and the OCN Level 3 Child Nutrition Qualification. I love to cook, and am very into healthy/clean eating, happy to cook for the whole family. I’m also very active and love to fill the day with activities and play dates. I believe in a calm, consistent and loving approach which focuses on building trust and developing clear boundaries for the child(ren). With babies, I believe in developing a flexible and gentle routine, based on the individual child’s cues.
My Experience
I have nannying and babysitting experience with many different families, and children aged newborn - 13 years. I have also worked at a primary school after school club, where I cared for children aged 4-11 and I was responsible for supervision, helping with homework, running games, and preparing food. I am also paediatric first aid trained. I have also worked at a kids holiday camp where I specialised with the 3-5 year olds.
My Qualifications
I am an OCN Level 4 Qualified Maternity Nurse. I am level 3 Paediatric First Aid trained. I have also completed the OCN Level 3 Child Nutrition Qualification. I also have a Level 3 qualification in Common Core Skills and Knowledge in Childcare. I have completed courses in holistic sleep coaching, weaning and behavioural management.
