My name is Atefeh, and I am a registered childminder with Ofsted in Twickenham (TW2 7PR). I have been providing professional childminding services for over 21 years, gaining extensive experience in working with children of all ages. I am proud to have achieved an 'outstanding' grade during inspections for the past three consecutive years, with my most recent inspection taking place in June 2020.
My primary goal is to provide high-quality care and education in a warm and nurturing home-setting. I believe in creating a safe and stimulating environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential. As an experienced childminder, I am well-versed in the revised Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, which guides my practice in supporting children's holistic development.
In my care, children can enjoy a wide range of age-appropriate activities that promote their physical, intellectual, emotional, and social growth. These activities include arts and crafts, outdoor play, music and movement, storytime, and educational games. I have many outing activities and take children to local parks, Kew Garden, Hampton Court, farms, and more. Additionally, every day we provide homemade hot dinner as my husband is a chef, ensuring that children receive proper nutrition throughout the day.
Moreover, I have extensive experience and professionalism in potty training and caring for newborn babies. I can accept children from as young as 3 months onwards, ensuring that each child's developmental needs are met with care and expertise.
Having worked in various private nurseries throughout my career, I have honed my skills in understanding and meeting the unique needs of each child. I am dedicated to fostering positive relationships with both children and their families, creating a sense of trust and open communication. I can provide excellent references from previous and current families who have entrusted their children to my care.

I have more than 21 years of experience working with children in various private nurseries, as well as more than 12 years of experience working as a childminder. I am passionate about working with young children, particularly babies.
My Qualifications
I have a Bachelors degree in child education and a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in home-based childcare services.
I have passed all of the required training and checks, including CRB, Paediatric First Aid and Child Protection.
My Availability
I provide childcare services from 8 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday (with flexibility upon request).

Ate and her team have been an integral part of our family for the last 5 years - my son joined the setting when he was one alongside his cousins and thrived until he went to school. The nurturing care and experiences Ate and her team do for all the children is exceptional. Food is all beautifully homemade and they challenge tastebuds so my son never became a fussy eater. Ate and her team go above and beyond all the time. We are planning on sending our daughter later on in the year so that she too gets the same exceptional care that they so lovingly gave my son.

Our first child started with Atefeh (Ate) in 2020 and our son join in 2022. We were very apprehensive in trusting someone with our first child, but Ate and the team have been completely exceptional. They just love the children and provide such wonderful care - a real home from home environment. We very sadly had to move our son out when my daughter went to school as we don't live near Ate and could not manage the travel, and honestly, you can see the difference in the amazing service she provides compared to a big nursery. Ate provides much more maternal care and really invests in specific activities that help develop the children's learning. She was always available to help advise me on any issues I had, like potty training, or a colic baby. Oh and the food! Gosh, my children developed a wonderful palate being exposed to a really good range of food including Iranian cuisine. We now consider Ate and the team family and despite not attending anymore, we visit with our children as they absolutely love her. We have recommended Ate to our friends and family, and now multiple friends and my sister have children who now attend the setting. I whole heartedly recommend Ate to anyone who wants their child to experience a very caring, very safe, happy environment.

I have used Atefeh’s service for many years.
Her team and she are dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for the children.
The children engage in various activities such as creative arts and crafts, outdoor play and trips to different places both locally and in London.
My child is always excited to share her daily experience with us at the end of the day.
Communication with Atefeh has been exceptional.
She is always responsive to my messages and very good in keeping parents informed about the children’s progress on a regular basis.
I highly recommend her service.

Both our kids attended this setting with Atefeh and her lovely team from 1 year old until they went to pre school full time. We were so happy with the care, attention , learning , fun and love they received during their time here and they both still talk about all the happy and fun times they had and how they miss Ate and the team! It’s a great size setting with enough kids to be social and exposure to different ages but still very individualised care. The trips they go on in the local area are incredible and the home cooked food made all the parents salivate - we always hoped for take out on collection!! As we don’t have local family I couldn’t have asked to leave my kids with anyone better and we will keep in touch with the team despite having moved out of the area now. Thanks for giving the kids a supportive and great start in life!

I was incredibly fortunate to meet Atefeh and her lovely team (all of whom are WONDERFUL too!) over 5 years ago when I had my first daughter and needed to return to work. Since then she has taken care of both my daughters, one of whom found it particularly hard to be separated from me, and Atefeh couldn’t have been more kind and encouraging, going above and beyond to help make her feel safe and happy - which she very soon was!! The size of her setting is perfect - enough children for them all to meet lots of others and form new friendships, but also small enough to ensure more individualised care - they really do care deeply about each and every child in their care and offer them so much fun, support, encouragement and love. Atefeh herself has extensive knowledge and experience caring for children and they regularly take them out on day trips and exciting adventures. She and her team have become like family and I recommend her without hesitation!

I found Atefeh and her wonderful setting and team nearly 5 years when I was looking to return to work. My son was 11 months so I wanted to find a smaller setting than a nursery, but more than 1:1 care, so my son could interact with other children - Ate’s was the sweet spot between both. When I had my daughter 2 years later, it was without hesitation that I sent her as well for 3 full days as well. Daily activities, delicious home cooked food, regular trips out and great guidance, care, attention and love from all the team! My children, as well as I, were very sad we have to say goodbye when they joined school last year. I couldn’t recommend Atefeh and her setting enough, I still feel very fortunate that my children, and I, had the support and growth while being there!

We have been with Ati for 7 years and she has cared for all three of our children. Like all new parents I was nervous finding that setting for our first born child but as soon as I met Ati and Hassan I immediately felt at ease. Her warmth and love for the children is instantly obvious. Her and her team are the warmest, kindest people you could hope to look after your child. But beyond that, she is incredibly professional, supporting the children in their development and helping them prepare for school. They take them out for outings to exciting, interesting places as well as constantly coming up with new crafts and activities to help them learn and have fun. And the food is incredible!
We feel so incredibly lucky to have found Ati. She and her team are rare breed.

Ate and her team are simply amazing. Our son was in such great hands. He loved her setting and all the fun amazing activities they would do. Ate and her team really go to great lengths to help with settling in, potty training, food etc everything. They are just incredible and we will be missing them greatly. Our son has settled in so well and made some incredible friends. Beautiful memories ❤️

Words cannot describe how fantastic Atefeh and her team at Waterlily childminders are. The setting is a home away from home. Having a lockdown baby, we worried needlessly about our 1 year old daughter and how she would settle but we really need not have. The love and support she was shown by Atefeh and everyone in the setting was second to none. Atefeh was always there to help with any problem or concern we may have had and even potty trained our daughter when the time was right! The outings, activities, educational tasks, the food, the premises and the daily group feedback you get are all fantastic. Atefeh really made us all feel like we were part of one big family. I highly recommend Atefeh and Waterlily childminders. They are simply the best!

We could not say enough wonderful things about Ati and her team. We have been sending our son for almost two years and he runs past the gate every day without looking back. They are very caring and loving but also challenge him and we are always amazed by what he has learnt (this week coming back and reciting the days of the week). We get daily updates about what they are doing and weekly updates on the food they are having (keeping all the parents very jealous at the array of incredible home cooked food they get). Their daily updates include outings to museums, parks, Hampton Court and Kew Gardens.
My son started at just 7 months and they were fantastic at helping him settle but also letting me feel confident about leaving him. Our second child will be starting at a similar age in September and we can’t wait for him to get the same experience.
We have been so lucky to find Ati and would recommend to any parent!
