Having fun in a safe, welcoming, home environment is what we are all about!
I have a dedicated indoor space with a wide range of toys, games, books and sensory resources for your child’s development.
There is easy access to the garden where there is plenty of space to play, learn and explore.
I have a secure and private driveway making pick up and drop off safe and easy.
We love to get out and about making use of the parks, toddler groups, children’s center and other local facilities. We have an annual membership to Rand Farm Park and visit weekly.
We are in the process of developing our own woodland setting, in a few months we will have a permanent Forest School site.
The small ones at my setting have lots of freedoms to play and choose, we have certain set routines but mostly we work together to let the small people direct our day.

My 19 month old has been going to Buzzybee’s since I returned to work after maternity leave when she was 10 months old. That transition back to work was made so much easier knowing that my child was in Becky’s care and being well looked after.
Becky listens to any concerns, feedback and updates about my daughter’s needs - for example if her daily routine has changed and her naps need amending. This is exactly what you want from childcare; someone to listen and to act in the best interests of the child 110%. Between us, we share news about her milestones and what we have been doing, learning and enjoying at home/Buzzybees so that my daughter has continuity in her care and development.
You can see the amount of time that goes into planning each day and the activities the children do. There is a dedicated room inside full of beautiful toys and a lovely secure outdoor space for them to run around and burn off some energy. They attend local groups and have trips out. My daughter comes home absolutely buzzing! She whole heartedly loves her days at Buzzybees!

Our daughter started in Nursery just a few weeks after her first birthday, it was a lovely facility but she struggled to settle in the big space with the large group of children and the staff would never manage to get her down for decent naps. The knock on effect was that I was constantly trying to get her to catch up on sleep at weekends, and she was always really tired and upset in the evenings on weekdays, it was really frustrating. She was also constantly getting ill at nursery.
Between us my partner and I must have visited at least five different childminders to look around before we met Becky. It might seem overly picky, but changing childcare providers is a big decision and we wanted to make the right choice first time round.
We went to meet Becky when she was still establishing herself. Our reasons for choosing her were (in the order they appeared):
1. Lovely family home, easy access driveway, big play spaces with a good stock of toys and activities
2. Huge enclosed garden, outdoor play things.
3. A very sociable and friendly child
4. Becky herself is friendly, down to earth and children seem to be naturally at ease with her
5. She has a background in teaching, specifically in a SEN setting - this acted as proof on the first instance of her patience and compitance
6. It make me feel more comfortable to know that, as a police officer, her partner has been extensively DBS checked (but again, I might be a bit paranoid)
Initially after a few settling-in sessions our daughter went for a few days a week, but eventually we swapped her entirely over to Becky. I think it's the best decision we could have made. The difference in her mood was immediately obvious on going to Buzy Bees, Becky invested a lot of time into helping her nap during the day and she absolutely loves going to Becky's -I sometimes struggle to convince her to leave! She feels so comfortable with the environment and Becky is able to give her the one-on-one attention she needs. With Buzzy Bees she goes on days out, she has been to The Deep, Rand Farm, Fun Farm, and she regularly attends Ryme Time and soft play. Becky puts her down for long naps every day, and makes healthy home cooked meals for the children.
I completely trust Becky with Eliza, she ensures that her charges all feel safe and valued. All of the kids get on together really well, they share and hold hands and it's just really nice to see. Becky goes out of her way to help out, we have even left Eliza overnight. It's like another home for her.
Becky is extremely competent when it comes to the business side of things. She has helped us move through a fair few work-based voucher schemes, her billing process is straightforward and professional, and she keeps parents updated with regular newsletters.
We really can't recommend Buzzy Bees enough, 10/10.
