My Summary
About Me
I am a kind, energetic, organised, and reliable nanny with a passion for fostering children’s growth and happiness. Known for my efficiency and creativity, I excel at balancing tasks, keeping environments clean and organised, and ensuring children feel comfortable and engaged. With a background in art, design, cooking fresh healthy meals and baking, I enjoy incorporating creativity into teaching and daily activities, making learning both fun and effective.
I have worked in various roles over the last 8 years. I have listed the most recent and relevant roles and duties. I have extensive experience caring for babies, toddlers, and school-aged children, adapting easily to their individual needs and personalities. Driving since 2019, I hold a Paediatric First Aid Certificate and an enhanced DBS certification. I’ve worked with children since the age of 17 in roles including nannying, babysitting, and as a childminding assistant. Having grown up in a child-focused home, with my mother running a childminding business for over 20 years, I bring both professional ability and a lifelong understanding of childcare.
I can provide your family with a loving and nurturing nanny, who has a heavy focus on learning through play and surrounding environments. I am responsible, hardworking, and reliable.

Lydia looked after my two children (7 and 9) for five months earlier this year. She collected them from school, took them to clubs, cooked their dinner, etc. She was absolutely lovely with them, did lots of baking and crafts, played games, helped with homework and was always very positive and willing to help: the first time she babysat in the evening she offered to prepare their pack lunches for the following day. The kitchen was always spotless when I came home.
Lydia is reliable and conscientious, replies to messages very quickly, and I had no doubts that my children were totally safe in her hands.
