My Experience
I have many years of experience as an Ofsted-registered childminder, I have had the privilege of caring for and supporting the development of many children. My journey in childcare has allowed me to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel comfortable to learn and grow. I have worked with children of various ages and backgrounds, adapting my approach to meet their individual needs. From planning fun and educational activities to fostering social skills and independence, I am committed to providing high-quality care. My experience as a mother of five adult children has also given me valuable insight into child development, helping me build strong relationships with both children and their families.
My Qualifications
I have a Level 3 qualification in childcare. I have also completed training in first aid, safeguarding, food hygiene, outdoor mathematics, speech and language development, online safety awareness, Autism and ADHD training, Equality,Diversity & inclusion training and many others. These courses have equipped me with the skills and knowledge to provide a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for the children in my care.
My Availability
I currently work Monday to Thursday and have a rare vacancy available starting after Easter 2025 due to a child relocating. This is a term-time-only vacancy, perfect for parents who only need childcare during school terms, students, or those eligible for funding. I offer funded places for all children from 9 months to 4yrs if eligible.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour

I could not recommend Sandra enough. My little girl has been attending Sandra’s since she was 9 months old, she has come on in leaps and bounds learning lots of new things each day. My daughter comes home with all sorts of different crafts things each day which she is eager to show me! She has now just turned 3 and can write her name!! Sandra has so much patience with the children and also caring with them too. My daughter loves going to Sandra’s and is so excited to go!!
