About Me
Hi there I'm m Kate and a mom to 4 children of varying from 17 years old to 6 years old.
I've completed a level 1 & level 2 course for child development and I'm about to start work as a care professional.
I've been taking care of the same family since September 2024 which I throughly enjoy and always look forward to seeing the family.
I've spent a small number of weeks volunteering as a playworker for a holiday club, something of which I enjoyed.
I've been a leader at a girlguiding club, I've also helped at a youth club on a regular basis.
I enjoy shopping, bargain hunting, walking my dogs. And days at the beach with my family.
I enjoy baking and making jams & lemon curds.
I have been a dog fosterer in the past and in the future my dream and hopes are to foster children once my children have grown up and I have room this has always been a long time wish of mine.
I love spending time with my family and having days out and holidays when we can. I have a very close relationship with all 4 of my children.
I have 2 dogs at the moment.
My Experience
My own children are 17,13, 10 and the youngest is 6 years old.
I've been taking care of the same family since September 2024.
I have volunteered with girlguides (mainly 5-7 years old) for a couple of years on a regular weekly basis and became a leader,and i volunteered for a youth club with various ages and abilities again on a regular weekly basis.
I have spent some weeks volunteering at a children's holiday club for ages 5 - 11 to be offered a job for next year.
Ive babysat for friends children & other families in the past.
I can be flexible with slight notice to make sure it doesn't clash with any of my own family arrangements.
I'm happy to help weekends and evenings with short notice as I'm often free as my husband is home.
I'm able to offer help around the home, cooking, putting the children to bed, help with homework,reading and spellings and any other household help that's required.
Please feel free to message to see how I can help your families needs, childrens safety and happiness is my number one priority. I suggest a meet and greet beforehand. I will bring my clear DBS at this meeting. Happy to take the children out or look after in your home whilst in my care with your approval.

Kate recently babysat our 3 boys, whilst we had a much needed evening out. We have never used a babysitting service before as we are quite anxious about it, but Kate instantly made us feel at ease. She visited the day before so the boys could meet her ahead of the evening. She was friendly, polite, on time...on the day she did a brilliant job, considering our 3 are quite a handful! The boys seemed comfortable having her around. Would definitely recommend and look forward to seeing her again in the near future.

Kate was very good with the children and made them feel comfortable
Easy going and on time lovely lady and will be using again
Also was able to show her dbs certificates upon interview would highly recommend
