About Me
My name is Erika Robinson and I am the owner of Mother Hubbard’s which is based within a fun, loving family home in the Norton area of Runcorn.
I am a happily married mum of two who prior to changing my 10 year career in nursing was faced with the prospect of finding childcare for my precious little ones, so I can appreciate how difficult it can be finding “the right person”. I’d like to make your decision a little easier: -
I am an Ofsted registered childminder with experience working with babies, pre-school children and early years and hold a Teaching Assistant qualification.
I am qualified in Paediatric First Aid and have many years working with complex medical conditions and delivering first aid. Your little one is in safe, competent hands, no need to worry!
I have completed an introduction to British Sign Language course and actively promote this as an aid to communication for early years breaking down barriers and the frustrations of early communication.
I hold a full clean driving licence and I am fully insured to transport you child on “school runs” and fantastic fun filled days out.
I am consistently up to date with current guidelines, practice and recommendations regarding your child’s growth, development and learning.
My Experience
Having children of my own i have experience of caring for newborns, pre-school and children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

My Availability
My typical working hours are Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 5:30 pm 48 weeks per year with flexibility to work outside of these hours if required. I provide before and after school care (including local drop off and collection to nearby schools) with school holiday cover if required (subject to availability).
