About Me
I'm an ofsted registered childminder & nanny. I have received GOOD on my last ofsted inspection with only 2 points away from OUTSTANDING, you may view my full ofsted report.
I'm 45 years old married and a mother, I have 26 years childcare experience from maternity nanny, classroom assistant, nanny and now childminding. I have lots of references you can read/check/speak to past & current employers/parents. Im married, mother of one son, we live in a terraced house with a garden and a playroom dedicated to childminding, I offer a home from home environment for children to learn, grow and feel welcomed and safe in. I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and track each individual child's development and progress.
I have a 11 year old son who is very sociable and caring, he loves being around children and has grown up working alongside me in my job, he’s in full-time school. My husband is out at work all day and is fully DBS checked and all my current children love to see/play with him on the rare occasion he's home early.
We have 1 cat.
My Experience
I have 26 years childcare experience, especially experienced with babies and young children 0-8years. I have trained and always worked within the childcare field, it's my passion and love to help children to learn and grow, feel secure and happy. I have lots of qualifications regarding childcare, I'm fully ofsted registered and trained, paediatric first aid trained, safeguarding certified, various early years courses completed to keep my training updated & current, maternity nurse nanny trained, food safety certificate, nutrition course completed, and many others.
My Qualifications
Btec national diploma in childhood studies, paediatric first aid, full enhanced DBS, safeguarding trained, ofsted certified, early years qualifications in various areas, food safety & nutrition certificates. I'm always doing courses online or attending to further my training & knowledge.

I will tailor your fees to your sessions.
Food & drink included.
Outings / classes included.
Termtime rates.
No charge for my holidays or on the rare occasion if I'm unable to provide care.
Entry into an activity/farm etc with prior discussion & permission.
Soft play/playgroup entry included/no charge.

Jessica was totally amazing from the very first meeting. She is 100% the best childminder I could have ever wished for to look after my little boy. Her approach to the children is that of a mother and this is shown with the love the children have for her. Jess is still talked about in our house as she is and always will be part of our family. The experiences and activities she gives to the children are second to none and I believe not many others would be doing the same. Her understanding of child development and pedagogy is excellent and this shines through in all she does. I also should mention that the food and snacks Jess has for the children makes you also want to be there for lunch. If you are nervous about returning to work, don’t be. With Jess looking after your little one you know they are in safe hands and you will get feedback and photos throughout the day with what they have been getting up to.

Ah I loved my time with T and seeing him grow and develop! It was a pleasure to care and love him while he was here, He was so missed! If only you’d not relocated, but love the visits and messages we still get! Forever in our family too.
Will call in when I’m your way and see if I can still answer all his questions and build Lego with him!
Jess looked after our now 3 year old since he was 10 months old. We have been 100% blown away by her dedication and professionalism. Her communication throughout the whole process was excellent. We always knew exactly what was going on. Our son thoroughly enjoyed his time with her and happily ran in to her in the mornings.
She would also the children to a
Music group once a week. We’d always know this was the case as he would sing to us all evening.
Did I mention she is an excellent cook and a dab hand with the Arts and crafts. I couldn’t imagine leaving my baby/toddler with anyone else and we are so grateful for the care she gave. We would highly recommend Jess to anyone.

Oh Thankyou so much, it has been an absolute pleasure and privilege to have your son in my care and watch him grow from a young baby into a lively, inquisitive toddler, he will be missed at our setting and will always be welcome back anytime, he is very much part of our family. I will cherish the memories I have of our special time together and stay in touch. You’ve been great parents to work with and now great friends.
