About Me
Welcome :) My name is Rosie. I am a 27-year-old warm, creative and responsible nanny and babysitter living in Greenbank! I am interested in the 'gentle parenting' movement and believe in treating children with respect and empathy. With my current training as a Forest Bathing practitioner and knowledge of permaculture, I will be delighted to take your little people outside :) Encouraging children to follow their natural curiosity feels very important to me and I take great joy in nurturing their sparkles of inspiration! Having lots of experience working in nursery schools and my upcoming first aid training also means you can rest easy in the knowledge your child will be safe with me. I'm also a keen cook and love making delicious homemade meals from scratch. I am very happy to plan and prepare meals with your children's health and enjoyment in mind! My Experience
I have lots of experience working in both nursery schools and babysitting for independent clients. Excitingly I worked in a South London Montessori nursery school for over a year. It was an invaluable experience seeing first-hand how spaces and activities can be designed to centre children's creativity and Joy! I have also more recently worked in a Nursery school in Southmead hospital working one-on-one with a child that has complex needs, this has taught me the multitude of ways to connect with children through patient encouragement and play. I have also babysat for many children over the years of all ages up to 14 years old. I was proud to get positive feedback from the parents I worked with who would repeatedly book me and go on to pass my details to their friends. Now that I have moved to Bristol I hope to build similar connections in this vibrant city :)
