My Experience

I am passionate about children, their rights, wellbeing and development.
I have always worked with children.
It is a committed vocation and I love it!
I have a natural rapport with children of all ages.
I professionally and instinctively meet with their unique and individual needs.
I will offer your child new, exciting and fun opportunities everyday to enable your child to develop to their full potential in a safe, secure and nurturing environment as well as a reassuring routine so they can flourish.

My house and garden are very spacious and child-safe.
I have two dedicated playrooms and a large garden to play in, have fun and explore.
We keep chickens and hatch their eggs so children can experience the complete life cycle hands on, helping to care for them and handle them.
I have a large walk in poly tunnel in my garden where I produce homegrown organic fruit and vegetables, through which your child will be able to learn about the environment, growing, and eating healthily.
Children of all ages and abilities will benefit from my high quality home-based childcare, play and learning.

I am also an active member of 'Forest Childcare' which is about giving children the opportunity to spend quality time in the great outdoors on a regular basis. Sun, rain, or snow!
They are all wonderful, natural learning opportunities that I enable all children to be part of and explore.

I am flexible, consistent, professional, supportive and very patient.
I will provide regular parent reviews to keep you informed of your child’s progress at every step of the way.
I will create a unique portfolio for your child to support their learning and aid me, and you as parents, in planning specific and individual steps in their personal learning journey.
All children will learn through stimulating activities and play that is accessible to all the children but also personalised to meet their own needs.
In this way children develop and learn at there own pace whilst at the same time have fun and make friends as they play, enjoy and achieve.

In my many years as a Nursery Nurse at Whiteheath Nursery I have always encouraged children to learn and discover through play to meet the child’s needs and interests in the most effective, exciting and stimulating ways.

I aim to support you as parents and your child on this exciting learning journey and actively encourage a strong parent partnership.

I will encourage you to share your child’s interests and successes with me, which will enable us to help your child progress through their individual interest at each and every stage.

• Childminding from £8.00 per hour
