About Me
I am a dedicated, caring and professional nanny with 24 years experience. I love my work and take great joy in seeing children develop and thrive!
I have a solid educational background. In 2000 I graduated from The University of Wales, Aberystwyth. My studies included strong focus on child development and wellbeing. I have a keen interest in contemporary education methods and a broad knowledge of both independent and state school choice and nursery options. I am experienced and confident working with children of all ages (young babies through to teenagers).
Communicating clearly and working in successful partnership with parents is something that comes easily to me. I am highly organised and flexible. I love to have fun with children, encouraging them to be active, promoting development and teaching them new things through enjoyable games, stories and songs.
Organising activities for children both in and outside the home is a pleasure for me. Attending events and visiting interesting places is a wonderful way to help children learn!
Cooking is one of my interests and I have a sound knowledge of nutrition, am certified in food safety and am always keen to expand my culinary skills!
Whilst the care and well-being of the children are always my priority, I am able to manage the household and take on a wide range of nursery, PA duties and housekeeping. I speak German at intermediate level and basic French.
I enjoy music (piano and singing) and have interests in performance and the arts. I have just completed a diploma in Acting at City Lit, London which has further developed my creative and imaginative skills .
Comfortable with all kinds of pets.
My Experience
I have worked as a full time nanny since September 2000 in a wide variety of family situations both in the UK and overseas. I can quickly build a good rapport with children and parents and have experience of temporary and permanent roles.
I am adaptable, focused and can 'hit the ground running'!
Being confident and well organised, I’m able to make travelling with a family calm and enjoyable for all.

My Availability
