About Me
We have three kids and a teen, aged 13yrs, 7 years, 5 years and 1yr 8mths with who will be 2 in March. We have two cats and are non-smokers. We are walking distance to excellent transport links and Eastbourne town centre. My husband and I both work, he works school term-time only at St Andrews prep - but we are interested in taking someone on year round. We are liberal Christians, and respect and appreciate all faiths.
My Requirements
We are looking for someone responsible who can help us part-time providing daily after-school/evening support during term-time, as well as offering occasional babysitting, and flexible support on occasional weekends and during the school holidays. The ideal person would be someone experienced, warm, caring, energetic and professional who can go on fun outings, help with school homework, foster creative and educational play, prepare simple meals, packed lunches and snacks, who will clean up after themselves and encourage/support my kids to tidy up after themselves, and help prepare school bags. Love for the outdoors is a bonus!
You will walk the little ones home from school at 4.30pm then look after them while my husband and I are either present or finishing work. You will give them tea at 5pm, and help with housework, laundry and washing up. We'd love you to take them out to groups for walks and on trips as much as possible during any holiday or weekend care as they love this. You can work flexibly during school holidays, or maintain regular hours if preferred.
