About Me
Hi, I'm a hospital doctor and mum of three, married to another hospital doctor and just moved to Manchester last summer. Unfortunately our lovely nanny is no longer able to continue due to ill health and so we're looking for a new nanny or nanny/housekeeper immediately, particularly for after school until we get home in the evenings by 7pm latest on Tuesday to Friday, with the occasional Mondays once every 10 weeks or so. Most Fridays I can come home earlier. We need mornings on Thursdays definitely from 7am and potentially other mornings too although alternatively we can use breakfast club at school. My kids are lovely and well mannered, 5, nearly 9 and 11 years. We are a modest, welcoming family and look forward to meeting you!
My Requirements
Negotiable for the right person - I can offer just after school care Tuesday to Friday (3-7pm) and Wednesday to Friday mornings (7-9.30am) or additional light housekeeping hours to keep the family home ticking along. Hence we can offer 18-28 hours per week but negotiable for the right person.
We've been very lucky with our wonderful nannies so far - a wonderful nanny from September until now whom has had to stop due to ill health unfortunately. We have had a full time nanny for 2.5 years before the youngest was at school, then wrap around care with different before school and after school nannies, and then a lovely nanny who went on maternity leave just before we left the West Midlands.
Looking after the children and their belongings is what we are hoping for - collecting from school, laundry of their clothes, changing their beds and towels once a fortnight, keeping the toys tidy, engaging with them in play or homework after school and cooking them dinner.
Ideally we would like help with our laundry and changing our bed too, as well as keeping the communal spaces tidy.
Previously we have employed a separate cleaner but happy to consider all options.
