About Me
Hi I live on Canford heath with my husband Rich, son Josh who is 16 and daughter Erin who is 11. We work together to provide a warm and welcoming learning environment for your little ones . We have a 3 bed house , with a lounge/kitchen/ dining room for the children to spread out in and this also leads straight out onto a patio and garden to enable all year round play. We also have a purpose built garden room which is fully set out for lots of fun. We have lots of toys for garden play including water and sand, balls and paddling pool, skittles and much more. We are very social people who enjoy venturing out with the children to many local places every day including the local childrens centre, gymnastics,soft play areas, the park, toddler groups, libraries for rhyme time, the list is endless! We spend a lot of time with other local minders too, attending groups together and ensuring the children get lots of social interaction. We have lots of toys and activities at my setting. We enjoy messy play, baking, music fun, song and story time every day, free play where they can pick their favourites toys, more structured learning play, quiet play if any little ones are napping and much more fun. This all ensures your little one is learning and developing wonderfully and we update you on next steps as and when it’s relevant. Regular photos can be sent to you during the day, or at the end , showing what we have been up to, and photos of the children are displayed in our setting so they can see the fun they have had, and this can prompt fun discussions and inclusion xx
My Experience
I have been a chldminder and registered with ofsted since 2009 and have minded many children. I also have the experience of my own wonderful children. My latest Ofsted inspection was February 2020. I have parent references available to view. My husband has joined me and has the Ofsted suitability letter, safeguarding and first aid training.

Michelle and Rich have been our daughter's childminders since she was just 9 months old. Our daughter absolutely loves attending their setting and is so happy in the morning when she goes .She thrives there in every possible way ( physically, cognitive ,social skills etc ....) and that's the testament to great environment and care they provide. Communication is great . We would recommend Mitch and Rich 100% !

My little boy has been with Michelle and Richard for a few months now and im already noticing such a difference in his socialisation, he’s made friends, his speech is improving and he’s getting better at sharing and taking part in activities. He does a range of different activities and always comes home happy. It’s a lovely environment and he’s always enjoyed their trips out. He always comes home happy and looks forward to going each week. Communication is always great too.

My daughter has been attending with Michelle&Rich since she was 9months old. As I first time anxious young mum with no clue about childminders they put me at ease and made everything straightforward. I couldn’t recommend them enough, they’re friendly, flexible, have great communication and most importantly LOVE the children like their own. My daughter absolutely loves attending and enjoys every single day. They do so many fun activities whether it’s within the setting or out in the community. There’s never a doubt in my mind once my girls through that door to when I pick her up. If you’re looking for a kind, layed back but super fun and friendly setting- this is it. But it’s Michelle and Rich who make it as special as it is. 100% recommend.

Rich and Michelle have been our daughter's childminders since she was just 9 months old, and we couldn't be happier with the care and attention they provide. Our daughter looks forward to going to them every day, a testament to the warm and nurturing environment they've created.

My daughter has recently finished with Michelle and Richard as we are moving away from the area but while with them she has learnt so much including what they are learning to do whatever their age is, we would get updates of how her day has been which really helped me being away from her and you can tell they really do love their job.

My daughter went to rising stars when she was a baby prior to starting nursery, we then felt that childminders suited our needs better so returned to rising stars! Michelle is always reliable and provides excellent feedback on the progress of the children, always sharing what they have been up to and they get up to so much! My daughter always enjoys going to her childminders and is always telling us what she has been doing.

Michelle & Rich have taught my little boy so much in the 3 years he has been with them! They have been so patient with his speech and language delay and the issues that have come with that. I tried a different Childminder due to work hours and still ended up coming back to Michelle and Rich. A*** childminders.

Could not recommend Michelle and Richard highly enough. Our daughter has been going to them for 18 months and can’t wait to get out of the car in the morning. She has learned so much from both being in a group of other children and from the many activities and crafts she gets up to!

our daughter has been going to Michelle and Richard for over 2 years now. she has learnt so much from them and gets involved with all the activities! we put our son down on the wait list when I found out I was pregnant! wouldn't have anyone else watch our babies, they get treated like their own.

My little one has recently started with Michelle and I am overwhelmed by the quality of all aspects of Michelle's dedication. I needed childcare at very short notice and she was able to fit me in promptly and get all paperwork etc sorted. When we visited my little one was instantly happy playing with the other children and interacting and it is the perfect set up for children to be nurtured and to flourish.
can't recommend enough.
