Wonderful Experienced and loving nanny

Sarah has worked for our family now for over four years. She has taken care of my little girl from 17 months of age and my little boy, since birth. She is intelligent, well read, well -travelled and well spoken. When I first started looking for a nanny, I interviewed many candidates and I can say with certainty that persons with her qualities are few and far between in the care sector.
Sarah lavishes unconditional love and attention on my children on a daily basis. They both love her dearly and she has become a part of our family. There is literally nothing that is too much for her to do and she gives of herself in so many ways that when they are with her, I feel confident that they are loved, cared for and safe and secure. She is reliable, punctual and always ready to help. In the four years she has been with us I can count on one hand the number of days she has missed work. In many ways she has looked after my husband and I, as well as the children. This is why you will find when you look at her employment history, that the families she works for keep her on for years and years. It is really difficult to imagine life without her once she becomes part of your family!
My son was born with an immature gut and was therefore allergic to many food groups including potatoes, rice, diary, most types of meat and eggs. Sarah patiently came up with a weaning plan for him and has made everything for him by scratch since he was 6 month old, despite the time and effort involved. She is a great cook and is extremely knowledgeable about food and nutrition. Both of my children have thrived with the meals she has prepared for them including my son, despite his multiple intolerances. She is also incredibly helpful, easy to get along with and is always happy to take the initiative when needed. As a parent herself, she is very respectful of the parent- child relationship and is always prepared to accommodate my wishes and preferences.
Sarah also has a kind and patient manner. Her years of experience are evident in her work. She is not daunted by the worst of tantrums and her calm demeanor inspires calm and happy children. I have personally learned a lot about parenting and looking after children from watching her with my kids. She has a natural intuition when it comes to understanding and communicating with children and a knack for teaching and inspiring creativity. My five year old was already reading when she entered reception and my four year old already has a good grasp of phonics. She is always planning wonderful activities and outings for them and she is happy to take their cue, in terms of what they want to do and what they find interesting. Both my children have flourished under her care socially and developmentally.
Sarah has been an absolute gift to our family and I whole-heartedly recommend her for any position in the future.
