About Me
I live in Lincoln with my 3 children jack 22 Maddison 16 and Stanley 6 Not forgetting our dog Burt also our cat simba . We are a fun loving sometimes a little crazy house who love the hustle and bustle that my job creates.
We live in a house with ample room indoors and a large secure garden which has a trampoline , ride on garden toys and various other outside items to play with.
My interests are that I love to bake, I enjoy reading and going out on my bike or for walks through the woodland area at the back of our house with our dogs and our family.
We enjoy lots of creative and child led activities as well as free play. I have a selection of toys, books, games, puzzles and much more. I also attend local playgroups and the local Sure Start groups where children can take part in activities. The village park is only a short walk away from my house. I am a member of the national heritage so we often take drives out to local heritage sites.
I know from personal experience how important it is to find the right childcare for your child/ren. I also feel building up relationships with parents/guardians is vital for a good childminder. I aim to work in partnership with children’s families, to ensure that the care your child receives is the best possible care, tailored to their needs, and to ensure continuity of care from your home to mine.
Children should be given the best possible start in life and I like to work closely with parents to meet their child’s individual needs.
I am fully registered with ofsted with a full Dbs.
I am fully insured through pacey, with full motor insurance plus acceptable home insurance.
My Experience
I've been childminding now for 16 years aswell as parenting. I regularly attend training in order to offer the best level of care I can. This includes most importantly first aid, safeguarding children, health and safety, health and hygiene and I hold an early years NVQ, autism awareness , up to date awareness of EYFS
