About Me

Now in employment but still available for Babysitting.

Hi, my name is Sally and I am currently working as an LSA in a local Primary School. Before this I have been a nanny for over 25 years.

I have a happy, fun and loving personality and love caring for children.
I gained my NNEB qualification in childcare in 1995.
Since then I had continued to maintain my First Aid qualification along with completing further courses in Caring for multiple births and Sleep training.

Working as a nanny is a real passion of mine. I enjoy all aspects involved in working for a family and building a close working relationship.
As part of my role I love to encourage children to learn through play and fun educational activities. I enjoy being outside with nature and encourage walking as much as possible. I enjoy arts and crafts and if space allows, I am happy to make window/wall displays to show off your little artists work or turn this into an educational display.
I strive to support all areas of development and recognise the need to encourage children’s personal, social and emotional development. I aim to join in with groups ie music, toddler groups and other group activities. I am confident in taking children out for day trips so they can experience different places like farms, soft play, theme parks, zoos, museums, etc. Alongside this I am also happy for quiet days at home reading, doing puzzles, playing games and letting children have their own space to learn and develop.
I am happy to make home cooked meals and healthy snacks for children and love getting children involved in cooking too.

I have a 7 year old daughter who attends a local Primary School.
