About Me

Dear family/parent,

Hello! I'm ‘Kel’

I am very excited to be here to find a wonderful family to support, and children to teach and care for. I also support PA/digital duties for busy parents who may require this as an extra service addition.

I am a well-travelled, educated (BA Honours in Arts) native-speaking English mother tongue, British, 35-year-old female. I hold a UK & EU passport. I am currently based in Pembridge Square in Notting Hill/Bayswater, London, U.K.

I consider myself a very good communicator, and role model, I’m highly organised and passionate. I am well-travelled, with excellent manners and a proactive team player. Very energetic, highly creative, encouraging and empathetic and a fun, nanny, governess and teacher. My hobbies include painting, photography, gardening, keeping fit with sports, visiting art galleries, and exploring new cultures/foods.

I am trying to add languages to my list of skill sets, currently learning, French. However, I would not say I am of the level to communicate fluently as yet, however, I’m always willing to try and learn alongside a family.

I recently completed a role in Marylebone with a beautiful 4-year-old boy, with ASD needs, I supported him in school and within a home environment, teaching/homework, speech and language development. Development of fine motor skills and physical exercise. General care, shower time/bedtime routine and healthy meal prep/cooking. Playdates/soft play/swimming/music lessons and working alongside other tutors to support development.

Before this, I had a Governess contract with a UHNW family to a beautiful 10-year-old Russian girl whom we are still in touch with today. This role was a typical Governess role teaching/homework and supporting her with her ADHD alongside her therapist and other tutors. I also travelled abroad to Dubai and the Maldives for 2months alongside the family.

Now the time has come to find another loving family. I am open to connecting with families and understanding how my services can help you now or in the future. I am filled with enthusiasm to expand and offer my experience further in supporting childcare and teaching to families abroad.

I returned to London due to the unfortunate pandemic after living and working in South-East Asia for three years in two international schools. Before this, I worked in the digital media industry. I have experience in childcare/teaching internationally.

London for private families and in two international schools in Southeast Asia, located in Bangkok, Thailand. One Singapore international school on a Singapore curriculum and the other is a British international school. I am qualified as a TEFL teacher and have taught English, Maths, Science, Arts, and Music to classes made up of 15-35, children aged 3-4 years and also those in nursery level, all the way up to primary level (6-11yrs).

I love the rewarding and proud feeling when the children grow through their development and achieve goals in their education and play. This is what makes the job personally so worthwhile. Throughout these years of experience both in teaching and childcare, I have adopted a very fun and creative learning style. Together with games/songs and much more, always makes it an enjoyable learning experience for children. Therefore, I wish to continue to bring this care and energetic success to families/children here in London.

I love animals too! No problem walking the family dog out and about with the children in the fresh air! I’m a confident driver, however, does not own a car.
