My Summary

My Experience

I have lots of previous babysitting experience (mainly with children of primary age) and began babysitting whilst I was still at school. Last summer I was a temporary nanny for a family with two girls aged 5 and 7. I would get the girls ready in the mornings, walk them to school and collect them in the afternoons and take them home where I would entertain them and aid with homework before bathing the girls and getting them ready for bedtime, when their parents returned from work. Two summers ago I worked as a nanny for a lovely family with two children a boy aged 8 and a girl aged 6, it was the best job I have ever had and I absolutely loved it. I picked the children up from school, took them to their activities such as ballet and tennis, gave them dinner and we did lots of park trips, picnics, baking and arts and crafts activities. Four summers ago I also worked as a playworker in a children's holiday camp consisting of 40 children aged 4-12; I loved this job, finding it great fun and very rewarding. I have also completed a lot of voluntary experience at Peacehaven Heights Primary School, mainly in reception classes where I have helped to care for the children and run learning activities with them in small groups. At Peacehaven Heights Primary I have also volunteered in other aspects of the school day such as looking after the children during assemblies and lunch times. Two years ago I also volunteered at a homework club for young refugees and asylum seekers who were aged slightly older - between 16 and 20. During my studies I have continued to volunteer at the school where my mum works and have helped out, mainly in reception classes, with all areas of the school day. I can provide references from the family I last nannied for and am also DBS checked.

My Qualifications

Although I have no childminder qualifications I am DBS checked and have lots of experience of working with children for which I can provide references. My current qualifications include GCSEs and A levels and I would be able to assist with homework/ some basic tutoring in the subjects I studied for these qualifications.

My Availability

I work full-time but my working hours can be flexible, so I can be available for mornings up till 9:30am and afternoons from 4:30pm.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)
