About Me
Hello my name is Jo. I live in Ingleby Barwick with my husband Dan, our two children Izzy and Louie, our very gentle Labrador Millie and our kitten Teddy who loves children.
We live in a house with a dedicated play room plus a lovely outdoor play area in the back garden that backs onto trees and is not overlooked.
I love to be surrounded by children and my own children enjoy being around others too. We are a welcoming family and would love to give you the opportunity to see what we can offer your family.
My Experience
I started childminding in Oct 2016 following being on maternity leave with my 2nd child. I followed in the footsteps of my mum who childminded for many years and it has always been something I wanted to pursue but the time had never seemed right before. I'm so pleased I followed my heart and am enjoying every minute with my minded children. I am able to provide a loving, caring home from home for your child. I pride myself on making your child feel welcome and safe in our home and offer a nurturing and supportive environment for them to be able to learn and grow.
My Qualifications
I have a 3 level in childcare and have completed my paediatric first aid course. I have a level 2 in food hygiene and recently received a 5*hygiene rating at my recent inspection. I am also fully DBS checked. In the past I have completed levels 1, 2 and 3 in counselling and I definitely feel this aids me not only with my own children but with my minded children too.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.00 per hour
I offer half and full day rates at a competitive price including all meals and snacks, before and/or after school care for Whinstone Primary School and also holiday cover for short term care if spaces are available.
I am able to offer funded hours for 2, 3 and 4 year olds and can also accept childcare vouchers.
