About Me

I am a registered Childminder located in Gunthorpe Peterborough operating under the name Childminder Gunthorpe.

SPACES AVAILABLE STARTING SEPTEMBER 2025 - ALL FUNDING ACCEPTED

I am looking to provide care for children Monday – Friday.

I myself have a 8 year old son, I currently care for a variety of children aged between 9 months and 11 years old. I have a number of different children registered with me excellent reviews available from parents. And Ofsted rated Good by Ofsted in May 2019.

Our home is fully equipped for little people with lots of fun activities and opportunities for play.

We have recently extended our home to give me a really good sized playroom to work from with direct access to our secure garden which can be used all year round rain or shine due to artificial grass. Due to the new extension I have another separate room which can be used for small children napping in the day or older children after school.

As well as my home I go out in to the community and to local groups, this allows children to adapt to new surroundings and meet other children of a similar age.

I visit Sacrewell Farm, Ferry meadows and many other places on a weekly basis

I carry out observations and track each child’s learning using a web based app called Baby Days. This will allow you to see what areas of learning your child is reaching and what areas we need to work towards. The app allows me to share pictures and videos in real time, this is great for you as a parent whilst at work to see what your little one is doing. All this information can also be shared with other childcare settings should they also attend a nursery or move on to a pre school later on.

School aged children

Norwood Primary. We are located just off Elter Walk so very close to the school which is just a short walk on a very safe public footpath with no vehicles.



We are a short walk away from a number of local outdoor open spaces to allow both young and old children to get outside and play.

Funding

I am able to provide Tax -Free Childcare.

I will also consider funding for 12 month/2/3/4 year old’s.

Anybody looking for future spaces please get in contact ASAP as I already have enquiries for September 2025. It’s never too early to arrange childcare and be happy that when you are returning to work you and your little one are happy in the new environment.
