About Me
I live in Hove (Hangleton) with my husband and have 3 grown up
children. I have worked with children mainly as a nanny, for many years, I am looking for a part time nanny position
I am flexible, creative, honest and trustworthy with a sense of fun and a fair but firm attitude. I have experience of a wide variety of ages, from newborn to teenage both as a nanny and as a parent. I have experience of twins and of looking after several young children at the same time.
For the last 11 years I have worked for a family in Hove, their children are now 15, 13 and 10 years old, I worked 2 full days each week until all the children were at school, then did school pick ups a couple of times a week, I still do this sometimes for their youngest.
At the same time I was working 2 full days looking after a boy from age 10 months until he was at school, then doing 2 school pick ups for him, he has now moved away.
I also worked for another family with 3 children (11, 9 and 6 years) I was collecting them from school twice a week. This job has now finished.
I am also looking after 2 girls before school then taking them to school 4 mornings each week, but they are moving away soon.
I have worked for various families over the years with a large range of ages, one of my charges was a newborn who is my goddaughter and her 2 girls are also my goddaughters
My own children are all self sufficient and 2 live away from home, my youngest is 22 and in her final year at university but living at home.
My Experience
I have been both a live in and daily nanny with children ranging from newborn up to 15 years. I was a full time nanny until I had my first child and have done childminding and temporary/part time nanning since. I helped on a weekly basis in my children's infant and Junior schools and I have looked after my goddaughter on a regular basis (from birth, she is now 17) I was an ofsted registered childminder for 4 years before I had my third child.
I worked as a childminding assistant for 2.5 years and had a huge variety of ages there from small babies to year 6 school children. this involved school drop offs and pick ups, going out with 3 children, activities indoors (crafts, cooking, gardening, games, puzzles etc) visits to soft play, farms, library’s and museums.
I am a creative nanny, I enjoy painting, sticking, cooking, reading, visits to the park, library, playing games, soft play, toddler groups/gym, music groups, toy museum, beach and play dates with friends.
My Qualifications
I am a fully qualified N.N.E.B. nursery nurse.
Paediatric First aid Qualification.
CRB/DBS checked
I have my own car and full driving licence (since 1986)
I have excellent references
My Availability
I am willing to work in the Brighton and Hove and surrounding area.
At the moment I am looking for part time nannying I do work the occasional full day in the school holidays
My morning school run girls have now changed schools so I don’t have that job anymore
I am open to chatting about your requirements
I try not to work Fridays
I am available to babysit most evenings

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
Nanny rate of £15 per hour is a daytime rate until 7pm
Babysitting rate of £12 per hour is from 7pm
