Hello, I'm Beth and I have been working as a fully qualified nanny for just over 6 years and I have over 10 years childcare experience working with a range of families in a variety of settings.
I love my job so very much and feel very passionate and confident in providing high quality care. I take pride in providing fun, engaging, nature based home experiences for children to learn and grow, following their interests provoking more curiosity and allowing them to reach their full potential.
I am bubbly, enthusiastic and nurturing, with a gentle and positive approach. I comunicate well and very trustworthy. I value the importance of building a strong relationship with all of the family.
I enjoy spending a lot of time outdoors all year around and lots of nature based play. I value a holistic approach to learning, utilising local outdoor spaces which supports children’s mental physical emotional wellbeing. Baking activities and home cooking meals from fresh, encouraging the children to be involved in meal prep; regular trips out to the local library, parks, the museum/mshed, etc; music, dance, soundbaths &yoga; exploring the outdoors and regular trips to the woods and attending forest/beach school sessions; simultaneously developing reading, writing and maths skills and much more.
My Experience
I have been working as a nanny for many years now and have worked with a variety of different families! Throughout my career I have worked in nurseries, schools, children's centre, childminding setting and done 1:1 SEND support role with children ages 8 weeks - 9 years.
Since getting back from travelling India earlier this year I have been supporting families with short term roles and adhoc days as well as working in a home schooling group setting and now feel ready to start my next long term role with a new family. My previous nanny role began when the child was 6months all the way until they started school and I still have a great relationship with the family now.
I have gained and continue to grow lots of experience enabling me to feel confident and secure in my skills and abilities. I also occassionally attend training courses to ensure I am always up to date with key changes and continously working on my proffessional development.
I have built up a strong portfolio and have an extensive amount of positive feedback from the families I have worked with and can provide references for these.
My Qualifications
CACHE level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education.
Paediatric First Aid certificate 2023 (continously renewed every 3 years)
Full enhanced DBS on update service.
Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award
Safeguarding and bristol standard training
Basic forest and beach school training
Ofsted registration previously obtained and can be again on request.

Beth was incredibly helpful and demonstrated great skill in caring for our one-year-old son. She consistently found creative ways to engage him, drawing on her knowledge and expertise from previous roles. We felt completely confident that our son was safe, happy, and well cared for in her hands.
