About Me
I only offer after school care and holiday care
ALL MY UNDER 5 SPACES ARE FULL
I have over 28 years working in childcare, I live with my husband Mike and our 19 year old daughter Frederika (Freddie to all friends and family) together with an extremely large and loveable St. Bernard dog called Molly, I am a Nana to two adorable grandchildren.
I gained Good in my last Ofsted report with Outstanding in quality of care and working in partnership with parents.
I aim to offer a warm and stimulating environment where children feel safe, secure and happy. Good use is made of space both indoors and outdoors, their are suitable area's for all types of play.
Children have access to a wide range of toys, activities and outings. I have tried to create a "Home from Home" environment and to form good relationships with the children and their parents/carers. The children feel safe, secure and part of the family. I am supportive of the local community and work closely with other childminders in the area.
My Experience
I have over twenty eight years working and caring for children. I have a commitment to training and have gained my NVQ 3, safeguarding, first aid, equal opportunities, health and safety in the workplace, promoting positive behaviour, food safety in catering. I have all my certificates from the time I started and my commitment to training is ongoing.
My Qualifications
NVQ level 3 in childcare, First Aid, Safeguarding to name but a few. My qualifications are all ongoing.

My daughter has just finished with Jayne to start school in September but Jayne has been childminding Ava since she was 7 months old. From day 1 Jayne provided me with reassurance, communication always kept open, updates of the children and their activities. Jayne truly welcomes her childminding children into her home, and they are cared for with genuine love. There is never a dull day for the children with new activities whether that be outdoor or indoor organised every day for the children inclusive of reading time, play time, physical skills, social skills and much more. The children have different food menu choices every week and in term time these are always delicious home cooked meals. My daughter always tells me that Jaynes cooking is better than mine!
My daughter has come on leaps and bounds with Jayne and genuinely enjoys going and seeing Jayne, Mike and Freddie along with all of her friends. For those like me that want a home from home setting, with an experienced and genuine childminder I really cannot recommend Jayne enough. I will forever be grateful for all she has done.
