About Me
I am an OFSTED Registered Childminder living in a quiet neighbourhood in Little Sandhurst close to New Scotland Hill School and a short walk from St Michaels Primary School. I live with my husband and our 2 children aged 16 and 13.
I consider myself a friendly, caring, fun person with a real interest in working with children. I enjoy welcoming parents and their children into our home, and family, offering a real home from home experience/environment. I continue to love caring for children believing that being able to watch each child grow and develop as individuals is an amazing opportunity.
My aim is for children to feel safe and secure, to have fun, to giggle (a lot!), to learn and progress through play in a loving, caring and stimulating environment.
I am able to provide an extensive range of toys and activities covering the Early Years Foundation Stage. I have a fully enclosed garden where we enjoying playing. We love to explore our surrounding area and regularly visit our local woodlands, parks, libraries, venturing further afield during the school holidays.
It is important to me that parents feel included and informed in what their children are doing and how they are learning and developing. Every child within the Early Years has their own Learning Journey; observations are completed to track their learning and development, next steps in aiding forward development are noted and implemented. Children are encouraged to lead their play by choosing their own resources and following their own interests, allowing them to develop at their own pace. I also include structured adult led activities to enhance their own learning opportunities.
I am a car owner with a full, clean and valid drivers licence.
My Experience
Over 15 years experience of working as a Childminder.
4 years experience working in a Pre-School setting as a Keyworker and experience as the Inclusion Manager.
I have experience in special diets as my husband is a Coeliac - Gluten Free.
I have experience of working with children with additional needs including, Downs Syndrome, ADHD and Autism.

My little one has been with Becky since 10 months old and naturally I was worried about leaving her. She has settled so well (she's 13 months now) because of Becky's caring and friendly nature. They also do a lot of fun activities, always learning something new. Home cooked food and a fun but fair time - I would highly recommend.

Becky has been looking after my two daughters for 6 years. From day one Becky welcomed them into her home and has always treated them as part of her family. I looked at working school hours once and said to my children it would mean I could pick them up from school, my older daughter said "no offence Mum but we like it at Beckys".
I really wanted a Home from Home environment for my children when I am at work and they definitely get that. Becky structures the school holidays and includes all the children in decisions from the weekly menu to activities. I have no doubt that Becky genuinely loves what she does, I think she is amazing and so do my children. Anyone who has her as a child minder is very lucky to have her.

Becky has been my childminder since 2010 when Annie was at the age of 4. Annie has always been happy at Becky’s and she is confident talking to Becky about her needs and her feelings. Becky is very relaxed with the children she looks after. There is a lot of fun in her house. Whenever I go around in the evenings, the children are either sitting by the table and just about to finish their tea and they are chatting about their days; or playing games in the living room or in the garden. They are all smiling and Becky is there to encourage everyone to join in. Becky always cooks healthy dinners and it is very much loved by my daughter. Being a single parent and working full time, I struggle with childcare especially during school holidays and when Annie is poorly. Becky has always stepped in and supported me. I can not imagine what our life would be without her. It could have been disastrous! Annie has grown up to be a very confident and cheerful 11 year old. I can not thank Becky and her family enough for always being there for Annie and looking after her as their own. I highly recommended Becky.
