About Me
I'm offering private tutoring in Mathematics after-school hours and weekends as I work full-time on weekdays. I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching in the past and hence looking to fill up my free-time with teaching. I have experience in tutoring maths in private and group settings, and I have an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Statistics. I can also speak Mandarin, however will be teaching in English.
My Experience
Year 1 - Year 9 Mathematics & Statistics Tutor
Delivered bespoke tutoring on a one-to-one and group basis to a total of 40 students.
Plan and prepare teaching materials accordingly for weekly sessions and homework.
Complete accurate marking, evaluation and feedback processes.
Teaching topics of climate change and sustainability for research
Selected as one of six awardees, my research is on The Impact of Early Childhood Education on Climate Change and Future Transport. With two months of weekly school visits, I studied whether the teaching of global issues can have an impact on school children’s perspective and lifestyle habits, with hopes that it will result in a permanent improvement in environmental wellness.

I was trained and graded on my teaching skills, in creating teaching materials and communicating my materials to a large audience and in small classes.
