About Me

I am currently a qualified Early years officer, I have now been a childminder for seven years and previously worked in a local authority nursery before that for two years.

I am very friendly, approachable and have a lot of childcare experience from working in a nursery and having my own daughter.

I will try to be flexible to suit families needs and I'm happy to consider other nursery pick ups out with the Carleton area however Carleton primary will be my main school drop off and pick up. Also if required i may start at 7am instead of 8am with agreed costing. I have been in partnership with Fife council for a while now so there may be also be funding spaces available in which some of my children split their funding hours between myself and a council nursery, this offers lots of different opportunities and experiences. If you’d like to know more about this just let me know.

I have a large amount of educational toys and resources and have a separate playroom which I use as the children's main play area, I also have a large outdoor space with outdoor toys. Our garden also backs on to our local park and large field and has access for woodland walks.

I will encourage children to be independent and allow them to make their own choices and decisions with reason.

I attend lots of local groups in my area such as book bug sessions, cooking classes, toddlers and tumble club, we also like to visit local parks, beaches and woodland areas to go for walks. Occasionally we may go on outings to deer centre or Cairnie fruit farm etc or visit soft play areas.
