About Me
My name is Caroline and I live in Cambridge but regularly work in London. I am a doula (birth and postnatal support) and a level 4 qualified maternity nurse and I train maternity nurses and nannies for local agencies. I've previously been a primary teacher and headteacher and I am mother to two children, now adults (one is a nanny, following in mum's footsteps). I am also a qualified breastfeeding counsellor am a keen advocate of research-based practice, holding a PhD in early education.
My role as your doula or maternity nurse is to support you as you make the transition to parenthood or as you grow your family. This involves offering social, emotional and practical support. I can offer daytime consultancy or night-time in-home support to help you and your family to have the best possible parenting experience.
My Experience
I am experienced in supporting new families including those with multiples. I support through births and also in the postnatal period and beyond.

Caroline was our post natal doula /maternity nurse for months 2-7 with our newborn girl. She is an outstanding caring doula, and extremely supportive in all respects! We relied on Caroline to help out with a variety of duties from baby care to household support, cooking dinner and cleaning. She also connected us with a wider network of mother supporters (e.g. Breast feeding counsellors, sling specialists) when needed.
I highly recommend Caroline for maternity nursing and family support.
