My Summary
About Me
Hello Parents,
My name is Mahima, and I’m excited to connect with a loving family. I am currently seeking a full-time position and am available to start as soon as possible, with availability through January-February 2025, please note I will need to give 3-4 weeks notice with my existing family (happy to discuss).
With over 8 years of experience in childcare, including roles as a Nanny, Babysitter, Nursery Assistant, and Maternity Support Worker, I am confident in my ability to provide exceptional care. My background has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. I am dedicated, responsible, and enjoy keeping kids engaged in active and creative play.
I am eager to join a family where I can further grow my experience while contributing to your child’s development and well-being. I am looking for a full-time position with 9-10 hour workdays. If you believe I might be a good fit for your family, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
My Experience
I have over 8 years of experience in the childcare industry, beginning my journey in 2016 as a Nursery Assistant with Bright Horizons in Finchley. In this role, I was responsible for preparing educational activities, leading group tasks, and ensuring the highest standards of care for the children.
My experience then expanded into nannying, where I have been privileged to care for a 19-month-old child. My responsibilities include supporting daily care needs, managing drop-offs and pick-ups from nursery, preparing healthy meals, and more.
In July 2019, I took on a role as a Maternity Support Worker at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, working in the private maternity unit. This clinical position has been particularly rewarding, as it has allowed me to deepen my childcare expertise from a medical perspective. I have supported women from pregnancy through to post-pregnancy, handling tasks such as feeding, burping, offering breastfeeding and bottle-feeding advice, sleep guidance, nappy changes, baby baths, and more.
I would be happy to provide my CV via email if you’d like more details about my experience! :)

Mahima has been looking after our now 24 month old girl for the past 10 months (full time), whilst also helping out with our newborn. In that time, Mahima and our daughter have developed a really special bond. Mahima is energetic, enthusiastic and very attentive, and would practically always be available to help out, even if outside of her scheduled hours, which is a great help as having two under 2 years old means day-to-day life is generally unpredictable.
As our 2 year old is starting nursery full-time now, we no longer need a nanny, but would highly recommend Mahima, and would happily give a reference should anyone require.
Mahima has babysitting my 2yo boy since months. She is great with him, knows how to get him distracted and avoid sad faces, what he likes and what he needs. She respects instructions and timing.
She's responsible and a trustful person. With a nice and warm smile. Call her and have a lovely, day, evening... She'll handle perfectly.
