My Summary
About Me
I have two children of my own a boy and a girl. My eldest son is at secondary school and my daughter attends a local primary. I live in a lovely friendly village. We make use daily of local parks, walks and childminder groups as I think it’s important for children to get plenty of fresh air and be outside. I offer a home from home setting in my house and have a lovely garden space too. I hold a full DBS as does my husband.
My Experience
I have been Childminding since September 2018 when I registered with Ofsted. I also have many years experience in nursery work and adult care specialising in learning difficulties. All this experience has made me the patient, calm and collected childminder I am. I had my inspection in 2022 gaining an Outstanding grade.

Based in Bishops Tachbrook village and only to Bishops Tachbrook school for drop off and collections. I open at 7.30 and close 4.30 Monday to Thursday.

What can I say, Dana has been phenomenal with our daughter.
After going back to work at 5 months, she looked after our little girl like she was her own. Dana is caring, nurturing, and has a real passion for children’s welfare! She spends lots of time outside with the children and the arts and crafts they come home with was beyond our expectations. Nothing is too much for Dana and she was loved by everyone who was under her care
Our daughter thrived while in Dana’s setting which is homely and comforting. We are very lucky to have found such an amazing childminder.
Couldn’t recommend her enough!

Dana is so patient, kind, nurturing, considerate, thoughtful, invested... The list just goes on! My middle child attended her setting and my third child is just starting with her.
Dana has had a great input in raising and progressing my son and we are massively grateful. Highly recommend.

Thank you so much for your kind words. Time has flown so fast the last two years and now it’s the start of our new adventure.
Dana was so lovely & welcoming from our first meeting, made me & my son feel very welcome, my son has been with Dana 2 days a week for nearly a year (leaving now to start pre-school) he was always so happy after a day with Dana! Communication on point telling us how he’s been etc & supported with dropping naps & potty training. Can’t fault Dana! We will miss our Monday & Tuesdays!

Her ability to cultivate a nurturing environment is only surpassed by her dedication to educating parents on gentle parenting techniques while maintaining a firm yet compassionate approach. Thanks to her, my child has developed excellent sleep habits, leading to peaceful nights for the whole family. It’s hard to do Dana justice via an online review but I will do my best: Dana has been the childminder for our little boy for almost three years now. When he arrived at her setting, he had come out of a terrible experience at a local nursery and was in need of some reassurance. Dana did everything she could to make him feel at home, and to this day he loves going to the setting and seeing the friends he has made there. Being a binational same sex family, we’ve also felt very supported by Dana who has invested time in wanting to know some french words for our son, has talked to all children at the setting about different types of families, etc. She also always invests time to create dedicated activities for specific events of the year (Halloween, Christmas, Book day, Mothers Day, etc.). Last but not least, being first time parents, she’s been an incredible support when navigating new milestones, engaged in discussing ways to support our son’s development and is always incredibly flexible when it comes to ensuring our child is happy. She’s our well kept secret… or rather she was 🙂
