Mel has been my twin daughters child minder for 5 months now. I find her loving, caring, friendly and calming towards my children. My children feel at home in Mel's setting and it is personal to allow them to feel welcome which is brilliant as you can be reassured that the children are happy while they are not in the care of their parents and it has a home from home presence. Mel runs varied activities including activities relating to occasions as well she lets the children have free play. Mel provides each child with a diary of what they have been up to in her care and put pictures of them in it as well. I think it is great as a keepsake. She encourages my children to overcome challenges, which is brilliant. My children have never left Mel's house unhappy and are always pleased when they are told they are going there and I wish she was available for more hours.
