My Experience

I have worked closely with 4 families over the last 9 years, caring for young children ranging from 6months upwards. My experience is not just limited to a domestic setting but also extends to working as a Nursery Practitioner for over 10 years in which I gained a level 3 NVQ in childcare. I have faced many challenges within my career however I have learnt to adapt quickly to the respective children’s needs and always keep them at the heart of what I do, ensuring they are happy, comfortable and loved. My hard work and dedication to the job has been recognised through the relationships I build with both the children and family. For example my current employer previously employed me many years ago before they had their latest child. This is due to witnessing the positive impacts I have had on their previous children. Some of the qualities that aided them in making this decision come from taking the children out to museums, networking with other nannies and organising play dates, attending play groups so that the child build their cognitive skills and their fine motor skills. I pride myself in being punctual, trustworthy and reliable and I am now looking for a new family to work closely with from 1st November, as the current contract is expiring as the child will be attending Nursery.
