Excellent and professional childminder
We were really saved by Clare. We selected candidate childminders based on evaluation report by Care Inspectrate, which is an official body by Scottish government (I recommend to do so as it is open to public and objective evaluation). We set a threshold very highly as all grades are more than 5, which are “Care and Support”, “Environment” and “Management and Leadership”, and Clare is included in there. We started childminders near our home and, to be honest, contacted more than 20 childminders. Some did not even reply to us, one childminder ignored my email after meeting up, so we had a hard time. However, it turned out good because we could meet Clare. It is very lucky that Clare was available. Our daughter is 4 year old, and spent 10am to 5pm from Monday to Friday, which is fairly long time for kids. But my daughter really liked Clare very very much, after settling sessions, and she literally said everyday “I miss Clare so much” or “Can I go to Clare’s house tomorrow, too?”. This clearly demonstrated how excellent Clare is as a childminder. As profile says, Clare is a vegan and provides plant based meals. My daughter is not a vegan but she really liked Clare’s meal, including morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack. For examples, these are fruits, pancake, oatcake, vegan chocolate for snack, and pasta, pizza, spaghetti, sandwich for lunch. Clare is a very caring person, young and energetic, and her son is very lovely. She sends lots of messages and photos about detail of today’s snacks, lunch, and activities everyday, which is a good record for us and very helpful. The environment around her home in Milngavie is also nice, such as lots of nature, lovely park and sand park. She is also very professional, and I was really impressed by her homepage for the childminder service. I believe that it would be difficult to find such a great childminder.
