About Me
Ofsted registered childminder in Knaresborough providing childcare between 8-5 Monday to Friday. My hours can be flexible if needed. I am predominantly term time only but once again I am willing to offer some full time spaces if needed.
I endeavour to offer a home from home setting where your child will become extended family. I will follow the child’s interests and incorporate them into our themes and activities. I have a decent sized garden where we will spend a lot of our time, with a dedicated cabin playroom at the end of it. All food, nappies, and outings included in the fees.
My Experience
I have 3 children myself ages 13, 8 and 1. I have been a teaching assistant prior to this for 3 years where I gained experience in teaching phonics and SEN children. I am fully DBS checked and insured.
My Qualifications
I have completed the relevant childminding qualifications including safeguarding. I am in the process of completing further modules with them. I have a paediatric first aid certificate with an added certificate in anaphylaxis awareness. I also have a certificate in food hygiene.
My Availability
Monday to Friday 8-5, but open to movement on this if needed.
Please enquire for any emergency childcare and I will do my best to accommodate. I am open to requests for weekends or overnight care on occasion. I cannot offer babysitting in your own home due to having children of my own who cannot be left, but can offer occasional childcare within my home.
Ad hoc school holiday care is an option too, for all ages. Hours can suit your needs. We may do trips out such as the farm, beach, zoo etc. But this will all be discussed before hand. I will generally only take on one family in the holidays as I have my own school aged children anyway. Sibling discount offered.

- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
Inclusive of morning and afternoon snacks, lunch, nappies, wipes and outings.
