Greenwich based Kiwi Family looking for a full-time Nanny

Description: We are a NZ family that is looking for a full-time nanny starting at the end of January 2025 to support the development of our 3 children aged 3, 6 and 8 years old. We ask that the nanny supports us with drop off and collection from school / clubs in Blackheath (vehicle provided and valid driver's licence needed). Helping out with homework in the afternoons, dinner, bath time and other bed time routines into the early evening.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about child development and that enjoys the outdoors. It is important that applicants are first aid trained and if you are not, we are happy to pay for you to attend this training.

Duties:
• To primarily help to look after our children to ensure that they are safe and their development, emotional and physical needs are met.

• Collect our children from nursery/school (same location in Blackheath) in the afternoon.

• Prepare snacks and dinner meals ensuring these are balanced and nutritious.

• Clearing-up and engaging the kids to clear up (e.g. toys and mealtimes).

• Helping the kids develop physically and mentally through fun with play, dancing, puzzle play, singing, toys, arts & crafts etc.

Individual’s Requirements:
• Must be a non smoker.
• Have excellent knowledge of infant and child safely.
• Be enthusiastic and have a good sense of humour. As a family we do not take ourselves too seriously and we like to encourage this in our kids.
• Be patient, maintain a positive attitude and be organised.
• Be flexible to adapt to situations as they arise and provide extra help where required.
• Valid Driver’s licence for UK - this is a mandatory requirement.

Salary: This will be paid hourly and based on current market rates dependant upon experience. Usual statutory entitlements will be included.
