Both my now 5 year old and 3 year old were cared for by Cheryl from 12 months to 3 years. They enjoyed every second!
I completely trusted Cheryl and felt she cared for the boys like a relative would. They were always happy to go to Cheryl and would tell me all about their day.
I found Cheryl reliable and helpful when I needed unexpected childcare. I was always kept up to date on my children’s progress and she kept them happy and entertained throughout the day.
After having a place booked from 20 weeks pregnant. Cheryl let me down 3 months before my return to work.
This was done over text which I found unprofessional, no explanation given.
The reason we secured a place whilst pregnant was due to the demand for childcare in the local area. We are now anxious to find a local nursery soon.
Unfortunately our baby girl had already started some settling in days and had attended 3 times already.
I’m so disappointed and anxious to find the correct setting for my girl.
My son has been going to Cheryl since 2017. We are so pleased we found her through childcare.co.uk. Having just moved to the area and not knowing any local childcare providers we didn't know where to start. My son was 16 months old, had never been left with anyone else before and was quite clingy. Cheryl instantly made us feel we had made the right choice. She has such a caring manner it is clear she wants the best for every child in her care. We felt that her setting was like home from home. She prepares lovely creative activities for the children, she has a wonderful garden where our son is in his element and she is often taking them on great trips out. He loves going to Cheryl and wants to go there even if we are just driving by!
She provide us with lots of feedback on his progress, not just formally, but also through a learning journal, the pictures she sends & feedback day to day and even a monthly newsletter.
Cheryl goes out of her way to support us as a family too. Being new to the area, Cheryl gave us lots of ideas of activities & places to go as a family. We can rely on her 100% and she always does her best to help us out on unscheduled days. Our son (and us) see her as part of the family and are so grateful for her role in bringing up our special boy.
I honestly couldn't praise Cheryl enough. My son attended Cheryl's for almost 2 years and he absolutely loved it. He used to get excited when we pulled up to her house and always ran in with excitement. She takes the children out regularly on days out or to play groups, and if they don't go out they are always doing some form of activity, like painting or reading. She recently had an author come read to children at her house. Cheryl communicates with you regularly and you get sent pictures. You also get a monthly news letter which tells you everything they have done that month.
My son is also a very fussy eater but Cheryl accommodated to that so well 🙂. I highly recommend Cheryl to anyone!
We found Cheryl through Childcare co uk in 2017 when i was due to go back to work from maternity leave and moved the area just recently. We immediately felt a bond with her and that bond still goes as of today and will continue through out many years.
My very first memory of Cheryl is that when we went for a visit there was a little girl in her setting. In middle of our conversation she unintentially stood up and went for a cuddle from Cheryl. That was the moment where I felt she is the right person and till this day (2020) I never regretted this decsion. She provides such a loving, home like, caring environment as well as an educational environment.
On top of this Cheryl does not just take care of your little one but also looks after yourselves as well. She was a great support for us whilst trying to settle in the ares.
My little one now goes both to nursery and Cheryl and will soon transfer to pre-school. I couldn't find any good enough nursery and that's the only thing I blame her for. She set the bar, the standards of providing a childcare to so high that no one else can now reach to it.
