About Me
I live in Crawley, West Sussex and have worked in social care since completing my degree in 2000. I have worked with lots of different types of people of all ages and in a previous life I taught childcare and health & social care. I am currently working as a manager of a children's home.
With regards to babysitting, I love children and am happy making mud pies or dressing up - whatever their mood takes! I enjoy swimming, reading, cinema, going to the theatre and also trying to be arty and crafty - often failing miserably, but enjoying the process!
Absolutely love dogs but not so good with reptiles and rodents!
My Experience
I was a foster carer and I did this for over 10 years before i decide that i'd like to enter the teaching world
I have worked with children and babies in a variety of different settings - nursery and pre-school, schools and colleges, respite centres, 1:1 tutoring, babysitting and in my current role working in residential care.
There are small children in my extended family, who I spend time with regularly. My godsons are currently 4 years old and 3 months old.
I have taught CACHE accredited babysitting and childcare courses as well as BTEC health & social care

My Availability
I am free evenings and weekends. I sometimes work shifts and have other commitments, but my schedule can equally be as flexible to suit me!

My Fees
- Babysitting from £8.00 per hour
From £8.00 per hour upwards, minimum of 3 hours babysitting. My fees increase depending on the number of children to be cared for.
I also provide 1:1 tuition for Key Stage 1 & 2 English and Maths and any subject/ level relating to childcare/ development and heath & social care at £28 per hour
