About Me
My name is April Tait I am 48 and live in Burntisland, In a lovely new estate within walking distance to the local nursery and school. Happy to do drop offs and pick ups from the school, nursery and playgroup. I have a daughter age 19. Who also helps on occasions and my mum steps in too. I am registered with the care inspectorate previously known as social care and social work in scotland (scswis) ( previously known as the care commission). I offer a safe, fun and happy enviroment for the children I look after.
I have recently converted my garage into a playroom and I have a large enclosed garden with a wide range of toys.
I enjoy taking the kids out as much as I can. Taking them to the park and local toddler groups. I also take the kids on days to soft play on occasion. I have a playroom in my house where the kids have a large selection of toys to meet there needs. I a funded provider. My Experience
My experience comes from being a mum and many years of looking after friends kids and family. I have now been a childminder for 8 years. My partner also has two young girl who we get a lot and we are always doing things indoors and outdoors with them.
On my last inspection I received a grade 5. I love spending time with the kids enjoying playing with various toys and doing arts and crafts and baking. Getting the kids out and about and keeping them active. I continue to complete online training courses and currently about to complete my svq social services children and young people level 3. This is so that I can go into partnership with fife council to offer the 1140 hours from August 2020

April has looked after my two boys for many months now and she is my rock. I could not have done without her as I have no family near by, she has been a massive support. My boys love her like family as I do. She provides a lovely environment for children to grow and feel safe. I would recommend her to anyone looking for childcare.

Thank you so much for the great review.I could not ask from better kids to look after I love them to bits. I really enjoy my time with the boys and love to watch them grow. While I feel if it wasn't for the support from the parents my job would be so much harder, I do want to do the best I can and make the kids feel very comfortable and happy while in my care. Great boys!!!!!
