About Me
Warm, energetic, and creative. Working with children has been a part of my job role and educational focus for many years. I have an instinctive ability and comradery with children both in a fun and playful sense but also in my calm and soothing nature. I experience so much joy when around my friends children and young family which I why I now hope to be able to share that joy and fun with children on a permanent working basis.
My Experience
I graduated University of Bath studying childhood. youth and education. Whilst this hasn't given me a practical childcare qualification it has given me an insight into the development of children through to adolescents...simply reinforcing the joy I get from caring and enjoying the company of children.
It is my interaction with children and their parents at my current job that has prompted a number of parents recommend I pursue nannying as a full time position. I am so grateful to have had such positive reactions and the encouragement from parents themselves.
I have a passion for teaching so should tutoring or homework support or grammar school exam tutoring be needed I am able to do so.
I have extensive primary age teaching experience. Would be happy to provide references.
I am confident in caring for new-borns and babies.
Am a confident cook and housekeeper.
I love to sing, dance, paint, create, walk, cycle and play.... A love for life.
My Qualifications
I have recently finished at the University of Bath studying childhood. youth and education. Whilst this hasn't given me a practical childcare qualification it has provided me with an in depth academic perspective on child development, and means of managing challenging behaviour, learning difficulties and social challenges.
Extensive teaching experience; both academic at a primary level, and in creative disciplines; dance, drama and speech.
My Availability
Full time Monday-Friday from January 2022. Able to help on weekends and overnight if needed on occasions.
