My Experience

I make it a priority to provide a safe and inviting environment for all of the children in my care. As a parent myself I understand the importance of caring for your children in a safe and effective way.
With all of my experiences, parents stay calm whenever they leave their children in my care.

I am a warm, engaging postgraduate with a down-to-earth approach to childcare, a calm disposition, a sense of fun, a good level of literacy and excellent communication skills. I have a passion for the outdoors, local outings during the holidays and a love of reading, singing and arts and crafts which I enjoy sharing with my mindees and I prepare delicious, nutritious meals.

Growing up with my mother childminding, I have always been around young children and infants.
As well as childminding, I am a registered nurse. After the Covid pandemic, I felt I could support families the way mine had been. I have developed mutually supportive, trusting relationships with my mindees' parents. I have a nurturing, inclusive approach to childcare whilst also promoting independence and resilience.

I prefer to engage with parents who understand the autonomous role of childminders, our ability to provide opportunities for socialization, play and learning within a small group and who prefer our approach to those of the day nursery setting.
