About Me
Hi, my name is Albertine (TINA ), I am a 50 years old Ofsted Registered childminder. I am registered on the Early Years Register, the compulsory part of the Childcare Register and the voluntary part of the Childcare Register for Ages 0 to 5 and 5 to 7 year olds. . My home is in West Norwood ,SE27 0AH ,it is a lovely child friendly, joyful and warm environment that children find welcoming, there is lots of indoor/ outdoor activities and visits to toddler groups and playgrounds.
My hours are normally from 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. Hours can be negotiated.
Price to be discussed at first visit.
I meet all the requirements for caring for children.
I am a bilingual French native speaker .
Getting There: Easy access to my setting. Buses 468 , 68 196 ,432 ; Ten minute’s walk from West Norwood Train Station and 5 minutes from West Norwood Bus Garage. Free parking space for visitors. Pick up from St Joseph’s Catholic Junior School and other local schools
My Experience
My childcare experience stems from caring from my own children aged 17 and 13 ; I built up experience also in escorting Children with disabilities to schools ( pick and drop ) .Experience with babies and children .
My Qualifications
I meet all the requirements for caring for children . Level 3 childcare and hold an enhanced DBS , First aid certificate and Safeguarding training .

My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour – minimum booking 4 hours. Call for more details
• Childminding from £8.00 per hour
My rates are:
£80.00 daily Rate 1 - 5 days a week (8.00 am to 6.00 pm)
£85.00 daily Rate 2 - 3 days a week (8.00 am to 6.00 pm)
£90.00 daily Rate 3 – 2 days a week (8.00 am to 6.00 pm)
£10 per hour for Ad hoc and weekend childcare
£20 per session pick and drop (maximum stay of 1 hour.)
£10% discount for siblings
Childcare vouchers are accepted
fees include breakfast , lunch and can be discussed .

Tina is such wonderful caring woman who understands and provides tailored made care for my children.She’s been a great friend,teacher and a guardian to my 2 kids since signing up with her for her services; September 2023….I will soo recommend her to anyone looking for a good childminder in her proximity.

Tina has been childminding my daughter for a year now. Shes reliable, very polite and great at what she does. My daughter likes the food she cooks and never had a bad word to say about her. She has also made friends with the other kids she looks after.

Tina has been a great childminder my little rugrat lovers her so much, from the first day she went about her business being a busy body. My child take off running when she sees her miss Tina. I recommend her services, she has been tremendously supportive and very versatile and flexible. Love warm and family home, definitely for those mums who are looking for something small, family friendly and diverse.

Tina is a warm and friendly lady with a motherly and nurturing attitude with children. For the past three years, Tina has been my children’s childminder and my kids love her.
The first time I went to Tina’s house, I was very impressed with her home. It was very organised, clean and stocked with toys and activities for the children. Another thing that really impressed me is that Tina takes the time to get to know each of the children she looks after – their likes, needs, medications etc and plans engaging activities to keep the children entertained while making sure that they are safe and comfortable. One other thing I also like is that Tina plans outdoor activities for the kids, and she takes them out to the park or library. I am happy that I chose Tina as my kids’ childminder as I know that my children are getting the best possible care. I will highly recommend her.

My son attends Julians Primary School near to Tina‘s house. Tina has looked after my son for over one year and a half. When I go to pick up my son he doesn’t want to come home. Tina does homework with my son, takes him to the park, give him a healthy snack. I am very lucky to have Tina to care for my son. My son loves Tina and her family very much.

Tina (or aunty Tina as my son fondly calls her) currently picks up my 4-year-old son from nursery (12pm) and looks after him until 6pm.
Like most parents, I was apprehensive about sending my son aged 3 at the time to a childminder. Since birth, my parents and I had cared for him at home. During the covid months, he spent the majority of the time at home with me and as such had never interacted with other children other than his siblings. I was worried as to how he would cope in a different environment.
Tina was very reassuring the first day I took my son to her home. She kept me fully informed of his progress throughout the day (something she still does to date). I am pleased that my son has adjusted very well whilst in her care.
Tina’s home is extremely clean, tidy and child friendly and I have no concerns regarding the food prepared for my son. In fact, I’m a little envious as when home, my son often requests for Tina’s food or healthy snacks.
An additional benefit to having Tina as my preferred childminder is that she engages my son in educational games/activities which I have noticed assists him with his learning and in building his confidence. She has a great selection of toys including educational toys. My son also has the opportunity to play in the park and at age 3, he regularly attended the children’s center with Tina which helped him immensely to develop his social skills.
I would HIGHLY recommend Tina to other parents.

Tina is a lovely and friendly childminder. She looks after my daughter twice a week and is very flexible with days etc. My daughter loves going to see Tina. I like that Tina plays educational games/activities with my daughter and I like that she takes my daughter out frequently to playschools, libraries and to various gardens. Tina is very prompt and efficient with paperwork like invoices etc. Tina is an amazing childminder do not hesitate to work with her!

I am really happy with Tina's service, she is my three daughters' childminder, she takes good care of them, take them to the park when necessary and teaches them various kids activities including school work. my children are happy with her service too, overall she's amazing.

Albertine provides a first class service. She takes them to several parks and the library. She provides healthy and nutritious meals and snacks. She provides many fun educational opportunities to challenge the children and both of my boys have benefited from this. My 4 year old can write, add and subtract and is well prepared for reception. She is a very careful driver and I know my children are being well looked after as she is very professional with everything thing she does and maintains accurate records.
French is her first language so my boys be learnt some French too.

I know Tina since 2015. She has a really lovely manner with all the children in her care. She is always kind, calm and patient with them and all the children are happy and well behaved. I also like the fact that Tina regularly Take the children to the park and in the garden.
I definitely recommend her to anyone, as my little one is always happy which give me a peace of mind at work.
