My Summary
About Me
My name is Donna and I'm an Ofsted registered Childminder as well as a fully qualified Early Years Primary School Teacher. I am also a Forest Childcare provider.
I am 41 years old and live with my husband and three children. Our house is situated in Lower Morden, opposite Morden Park.
My house is a smoke and nut free zone and is also very spacious and welcoming, with a large secure garden. I provide a safe and interactive environment with a wide range of toys for children of all ages in the play area and garden.
As a member of the Forest Childcare Association and being so close to Morden Park, we have regular planned outings there with the children, in order to support their individual developmental needs using the Forest Childcare approach.
One of my main aims is to ensure the children in my setting are happy, comfortable, nurtured and at ease in their environment as I believe this is key in helping with a child's development.
I provide home-made, nutritionally balanced meals and snacks, which are included in my standard hourly fee.
I am very passionate about caring for children and enjoy offering them a range of learning opportunities including: baking, arts and crafts, messy play, role play and music activities.
As well as providing a variety of activities in the house, I enjoy being out and about and like to take the children to a range of local parks, woodlands, farms, playgroups, soft play as well as going on nature walks, plus many more on a weekly basis.
I care for children aged between 1 -11 years, and also provide after school homework support for key stage 1 and 2 aged children. I am also available for tutoring Mon-Thur between 7pm - 8pm.
I'm a non-smoker, hold a clean current driving license and have my own transportation (7-Seater).
My Experience
Prior to being an Ofsted registered childminder, I was a qualified Early Years Specialist and primary school teacher for the age range of nursery to year 6 for a number of years.
I am very passionate about working with children and with over 15 year’s experience within this field.
I offer children a nurturing and caring environment and one-to-one support within a calm and welcoming 'home-from-home' setting, focusing on the 7 areas of development.
I also believe that being a mum myself, provides fantastic first-hand experience in caring for babies and young children.

My daughter has been with Donna and Ant since she was 13 months… she is now 3 and has turned into such a fantastic little girl thanks to the excellent care and education that they provide. I knew from the first time I visited the setting that my daughter would be happy there and I was right! She always comes home happy and their activities are varied so that every day she is learning something new and engaging well with her friends. I also have the confidence that their hygiene practices during the pandemic at a very high standard and that the children’s health is their top priority which is very reassuring during these times!
I highly recommend Morden Park Day Care and will be planning on sending my 2nd daughter there too in the near future! Thank you guys, this is one happy mamma! X

My daughter Mya is five and couldn't be happier under the care of Donna and Ant. She eats a range of healthy meals and each month they have a different topic in which Donna and Ant focus on with them.
She really can't wait to go to Donna's and Ant's in the morning. They are both so caring and friendly and treat Mya as part of their family.
It is such a relief to know that whilst I'm working Mya is happy and safe in their environment.

We were so lucky to find Donna and Ant as childminders for our two primary aged children (now 10&11), who have absolutely loved every minute at the childminders over the last 2 years. They’ve had so much fun, enjoyed great home-cooked healthy meals, enjoyed arts and crafts, played great games, tried new things, and have made new friends.
Donna is really great at keeping us updated, her newsletters are helpful, and she really puts a lot of thought and planning into every activity. The children have brought home many beautiful, cherished craft pieces which they’ve loved creating.
Donna's home is beautifully designed for looking after children and the garden is a wonderful space for the children to play too. Donna and her family have created a wonderful welcoming and nurturing environment for all the children and as a parent I could not have asked for better childminders.
Donna and Ant are kind and gentle and such amazing childminders, and we would not hesitate to recommend them.
Simply the best!

Morden Park Childcare has been fantastic and my daughter hit it off with them straight away. Very professional services and highly recommended.
They dropped my daughter to school and collected her every day and were great at communicating and keeping me updated with any information past to them by the school.
She was fed healthy and interesting meals with lots of variety and I really liked the home from home atmosphere.
Every day, they set up after school activities and my daughter always came home telling me how much she enjoyed doing them and she loved bringing home the things that shed created too.
Donna puts a lot of thought, effort and preparation into activities for the children, making sure they experience lots of things and have plenty of fun along the way
I would highly recommend Donna to anyone as she has been fantastic and really takes your views on board and makes you and your child feel at ease!

Donna & Ant provide such a lovely, caring, safe and comfortable environment for my son, who has been in their care now for 5 months. They have such a beautiful outdoor space with numerous toys to be kept entertained. He thoroughly enjoys his time there, has made loads of arts and crafts which he brings home excitedly and often asks to go to “Donna’s house!” It’s lovely to see the friendships my son has made in Donna & Ant’s setting, not just with the other kiddies but with Donna & Ant’s family too. It’s great to receive a monthly newsletter stating what the topic is for the month ie Dinosaurs and any other specific activities that will be covered during that month. A monthly menu of healthy home made meals is also sent out, which is great to see. I love that Donna creates a beautiful journey planner book for each child, which shows photos and comments of their time in the setting. It’s such a lovely gesture and beautifully written up to show the progress of each child. It’s great to see that Donna also provides a daily diary to show everything that has happened for that day. My son has definitely settled in nicely to the setting, is progressing so well with Donna’s previous early childhood experience and I couldn’t ask for more from them. They are truly amazing carers for my son and offer a fun, happy and safe environment for him. Donna is always so polite, friendly and helpful when it comes to any questions I have or advice needed. I knew from the moment I met them, that their setting would be great for my son 😇
