About Me
Hi my name is Kirsty. I am 55 years old. I am a Fully registered childminder with over 30 years early years experience as a early years teacher and as a child minder. I offer friendly, high quality child care where wellbeing of children is my top priority at all times . I do a variety of activities, rotating my toys and going to parks, local play groups and train trips to events. I live near to Greenhithe train station and Bluewater. The children here would tell you they love coming here and do lots of activities and have fun
I am a Mum to a 17year old . I have a friendly cat
Been rated good in ofsted. Aug 2022 where my parental relationships and bond with the children are highlighted as well as the learning environment.
My Experience
Worked with a variety of early years children. been within the early years sector for 25 years so lots of experience and love working with early years children love putting my skills to a smaller group of children and seeing them flourish . Worked with sen, eal children and able to signpost parents to the correct service.
Throughout my practice it has been commentated by lots of parents that I have ,a very caring nature. References and phone numbers for these are freely available to all.
Undertaken lots of training and always put a child's needs first tailoring what I do to the children needs

First impression with Kirsty was amazing. When we visited her house to see where she does childminding, we found her to be very calm and friendly. Her place looks amazing. She provided us with all the necessary information to help us make a decision. She was very empathetic to the fact that this’s new for us. We appreciated her patient with us. When we ready she will be our first choice if she has availability.

My little girl adores Kirsty, been with her for about 8 months now. Kirsty is great, very helpful and friendly. My little girls get very excited when we arrive, she used to be very clingy but has really come out of herself, it's lovely seeing the progress she has made since being with Kirsty. Kirsty has a lot of great activities set up and always going on outings. I would highly recommend Kirsty, an excellent child minder!

We have used Kirsty for the last 4 yrs, first with our eldest who still looks forward to going back and now with our youngest. Kirsty is an incredible childminder. The care and attention she provides for our children is excellent .
Beyond the care, is the fun and the learning. Everyday they do something exciting and educational, through crafts and painting and more. As well as the trips to local clubs and farther afield.
We couldn’t recommend Kirsty enough or as our kids say, ‘My Kirsty’

Kirsty gave our two girls the most wonderful start during the two years they attended her setting. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
Every day there were different , age appoprate learning activities and themed weeks to add to the fun. She took them on educational outings, to parks as well as endless activities in her lovely home setting.
I really appreciated the constant updates we had throughout the day helping us settle in quickly and all feel comfortable.
Our girls recently started school and the adjustment has been made easier due to the wonderful start they had at Kirstys.

Kirsty stepped in last minute for our childminder when she wasn’t very well.
Our little boy regularly meets up with Kirsty and the other children she looks after, with out childminder. They always have the best time .
I would highly recommend Kirsty

Beware of her. She wasted our time and declined to continue after settling in period saying I cannot care for your child as other children routine is priority. She keeps changing her story. She wanted to put our child to sleep out of the half day he was going to attend.

Unfortunately I totally disagree with this review. The parent didn't fill in the paper work or turn up to appointments so that we did not have a discussion on parent expectations . The parent wanted me to do one to one with her child on her terms and did not want her young child to sleep. I did not want to take her child on these terms and he did not gel as well as I hoped with my other children. No money was paid so I decided to terminate which under the terms of the unsigned contract could do. She also consequently contacted all my current parents with whom I have excellent relationships with in an attempt to tell them her version of events . I there fore dispute this and ask you read the reviews on me and my ofsted report .Kirsty
