About Me
We're a professional couple who both work full time (in higher education and property marketing). We work a lot from home and occasionally in Edinburgh. We have a friendly, slightly neurotic dog and two very aloof cats. In November 2025 we will be moving to a house in the West End of Dundee and will be seeking a nanny to start in January 2026. The nanny's accommodation will have self-contained accommodation (including private bathroom and living room); we are also happy to consider live-out applicants from the Dundee area.
My Requirements
Our 8 year-old son has SEN (autism and ADHD-related) and will be attending a nearby school in Dundee. The nanny's primary task will be to assist with his learning as well as taking him to and collecting him from his local school. Some experience with and understanding of dealing with children with ASD and ADHD is essential. The nanny's secondary duties would be to manage and organize household tasks (e.g. liaising with cleaners, doing the weekly grocery shopping, occasional meal preparation).
