My Summary
About Me
SELF EMPLOYED OFSTED REGISTERED NANNY. Looking for temporary position for the coming months. Locally Twickenham, St Margaret’s, Isleworth. Teddington
I have a recent paediatric first aid cert and DSB check.
My name is nanny Jane!
I have successfully helped many local parents with the care of their babies and pre-school children. Devoting myself to taking very good care of these little people.
Initially gaining their trust, then embarking on a happy learning journey that takes them from baby to confident small person ready for the wider world!
Nanny (14yrs) With 4 years previous experience as a LSA in a Montessori nursery. Work that led me to do what I believe I am most suited to... Caring for children!
I am a lively, caring, enthusiastic person. Truly inspired by a child's thirst for knowledge, also knowing they can gain so much from being with encouraging, attentive people. It is the most rewarding work I have ever done!
I have a 19yr old son Gabriel at University
I am in my element whilst caring for children! I hope to be perceived as very approachable by parents too! My working Ethos is to continue to create an environment where the children in my care, feel content and at ease. With the importance of being able to be relaxed yet understanding gentle boundaries.
I always ensure the little ones benefit from my undivided attention and care. Although I believe in early interaction with babies and children their own age. It is a very important part of the care I aim to provide.
Please note I will take children to the most age appropriate playgroups. ( I know it’s not a case of one size fits all ) some children need careful introductions into our wider world! I pride myself on building a secure relationship with the children, so they are as happy and comfortable in my company. I have confidently cared for many babies from very young to confident nursery aged small people! It is a constant delight!
I spend much time out and about in our local area, rain or shine! Marble Hill Park Kew Gardens, various playgroups and playgrounds. Libraries for rhyme time etc… allowing children the interaction needed to learn and form friendships. I am happy knowing the children in my care will learn so much from the world around them.
My previous contracts include;

After a childcare panic as nursery wasn't the right fit for us, we found Jane! From the moment she met our little 1 year old boy she was straight in and hands on. Her bubbly personality brightens the day and she has endless energy. She's super flexible and adapts to whatever he is into whether its counting, drawing or singing the same songs over and over. She's always in the know of local activities which is great as our little one gets lots of outdoors time and socialisation with other children. Jane is very keen on forming a bond with the children she works with, which is very important to us as we can trust her completely and, our boy is comfortable with her and she knows how to interact with him no matter what mood he is in.
She is also a great support to us as parents and reassuring presence whenever things get overwhelming and able to offer tips and advice from all her experience. Unfortunately my mat leave for no.2 means we have to cut short our journey with Jane :( She will definitely be missed.
When we first met Jane in Marble Hill Park, she was showing great characters and taking interests in our baby daughter. When she comes to the house to babysit the baby, they play along so well and Jane would take her for walks or read books. Jane has a very warm personality and compassion about the baby/kid she is looking after. So far, we are happy with Jane and we will continue to have her on a regular basis. One thing though you will have to stop her from doing too much, she’s so helpful.
Jane has been looking after my 1.5 yr old since the end of March. I was initially quite nervous about looking into childcare, and this was my first time doing so. My partner and I have little nearby family support, so we were really hoping that the person we found would feel like a part of the family and someone we felt really comfortable with - Jane has been this, and 10 times more!
From the first meeting and having a chat, I instantly loved her stance on childcare and it was really clear that interaction, communication, and responding to a child's needs were important to her. I have definitely seen this in the months that she has looked after my son. I am completely in awe of her energy and enthusiasm! Jane will take my son out all day - taking him to playgroups or parks where he will socialise with other children, and sometimes days just the two of them, exploring kew gardens or syon park. Jane is brilliant at keeping me posted throughout the day with videos and messages of the two of them having a great time.
Not only is Jane brilliant with my son, but she has also been so kind and sensitive towards my feelings throughout this time becoming a mother - taking the plunge into having someone else look after my son was a big deal to me, and Jane completely understood this. Some days I still have a wobble, and Jane puts me at ease and shows so much compassion.
I am so pleased that Jane is a part of our lives and hope she will be for more years to come!
Jane came to our rescue during the first few months of life with 'two under two'! She was an incredible help to me during this time and not only helped me to look after both little people, but she was also kind and considerate making sure I was looking after myself too. Which is what every new mum needs in their life. She has abundant energy, was always punctual and reliable. If you want someone who puts 100% into their job, then look no further. From the minute she arrived in the morning, it was action stations and although the job was incredibly physically demanding at times (with a super energetic toddler (occasionally prone to terrible twos...) and newborn), she remained unflappable. My two year old got a lot out of our 'Jane days' and particularly loved her creative flair. Lots of cute touches such as teddy bear tea parties, fun ways to eat food and some of the best elf of the shelf work i've seen around! My toddler still asks me now 'where's jane?!'. Would definitely recommend to other families looking for a trustworthy nanny.
Jane is amazing. She has been looking after our son since he was 10 months old and he absolutely adores her. I was anxious initially about leaving our little boy with someone new, but also really wanted to get back to running my business and have more of a balance with childcare.
The minute I met Jane all my worries disappeared, she is so thoughtful and experienced and knows exactly how to engage with little ones. My son instantly warmed to her and now he always has a huge grin on his face whenever she comes to the door.
Jane knows a lot about the local playgroups and activities, so he has been getting to spend lots of time with other children and is much more confident and sociable. I love seeing the pictures and videos during the day of what he is up to!
I feel so much happier now that I have more of a balance with childcare and my work, and completely trust Jane to give him the care and attention he needs as well as a wonderful, fun experience every time she is with him. She really goes above and beyond!
