About Me
I am a grandmother to four girls 3 of whom have complex special needs. My daughter is a single mum to girls who are 6, 4 (twins), and a 3 year old. The three older girls have a very rare genetic condition PEX11b. There are only 7 known cases in the world including the girls. PEX11b causes:
: partial sightedness
: hearing loss
: hypertonia/hypermobility
: incontinance
: learning developmental delay
On top of this older twin has epilepsy, a lung condition, which is being investigated, and often uses a wheelchair. She is often hospitalised due to her difficulty breathing and often develops pnemonia.
Younger twin has autisim, epilepsy and a blood condition, which is being investigated, which causes her blood levels to drop dangerously low sometimes leaving her unconsious.
My Requirements
I am looking for someone who has experience with special needs. Who is available evenings, weekends and school holidays as wrll as in an emergency. Own car preferable.
