My Experience

I am an Ofsted certified nanny and am registered with four separate London agencies. However, I have booked the majority of my long-running jobs through childcare.co.uk! I have Montessori experience, newborn experience, and multiples experience.

2019 - 2020 Part-time Nursery Assistant
My first childcare job in London was as a nursery assistant at The Oak Montessori in Wimbledon Park. I worked 3 mornings a week from 2019-2020. The children were aged from 1-4 and I was known for my gentle nature and my fun dance/drama activities. My roles included assisting with and planning outdoor activities, supervising lunchtimes, my fair share of nappy changes and being the go-to for a cuddle and a song whenever a child was upset.

2019 - 2020 Before/after school nanny
Alongside my nursery job, I worked as a part-time nanny for my employer for her two children (then aged 3 and 5). My responsibilities included pick up/drop off from school and nursery, supervising mealtime, bathtime, helping with homework, cooking healthy meals, and of course providing my infamous bedtime lullaby. I booked this job (alongside the nursery role) through childcare.co.uk.

2019 - Present Children’s entertainer
Since 2019, I have spent my weekends dressing up as various different princesses (and sometimes dinosaurs) and leading dance and drama themed birthday parties for 0-6 year olds through a company called Lucy Sparkles and Friends. I lead roughly 3-5 parties per weekend, and I often manage large groups of up to 40 (sugar-infused) children. My parties are often observed as a form of training for new starts, and in 2022 I won 'Star Sparkle' of the year for completing the most parties!

2020 - 2022 Nanny
My longest running nannying job was for a family of 2 boys from September 2020 - September 2022. This was also booked through childcare.co.uk. During this period I worked before/after school, some full-time lockdown hours, and full-time summer help. The boys were 3 and 5 when I started, and over the years I was in charge of cooking healthy meals every evening, taking to/from after school clubs, planning and facilitating day trips in London during school holidays, helping with homework, encouraging creative activities, and bathtime and bedtime every evening. It is through this job that I received my Ofsted certification.

2017 - Present Babysitter
I have worked consistently as an ad-hoc babysitter since 2017. Through this, I have acquired newborn experience, twins experience, and experience of 3 under 3! I have a wide network of regular families with children aging from 0-12, and am actively looking to expand.

I was a straight A student in school so well equipped for helping out with homework!

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.50 per hour
• Nannying from £12.50 per hour (gross)

Generally around £13-15 per hour.
