About Me
I have 30 yrs experience in childcare from newborn to 16 yrs. my career has been a mixture of being a private live in nanny, daily nanny, temp nanny, pre-school practitioner and bank nursery nurse.
I have my own son who is 17yrs old and step daughter 26yrs.
I have special needs experience and have been a PA to young girl with needs which I did for a few months.
I have been a health care assistant in a care home for the last 3 yrs on a part time basis.and a activities coordinator for and support worker for older people’s services with guildcare.
During lockdown I was made redundant and joined Kardinal health care to care for adults in their homes.
I also have a part time role as a health care assistant to a young lad with many complex needs. I’ve been caring for a man with dementia for 4 yrs 10-15 hrs a wk he has now gone into a home .
I have done palliative care, gastrostomy feeding and meds, stoma experience, small amount of tracheotomy care, epilepsy and seizures.
I’m now a reablement community assistant part time. I assist clients who have recently been in hospital and help them in their home to gain confidence and mobility to get back to or as close as they were prior to illness or injury.
