My Summary
About Me
I provide services for family with children between age 3 months to 8 years including picking up and drop off for after school, and holiday care.
I provide fun and interesting activities such as painting, story telling, Mark making, cooking and baking, art and craft, construction etc.
We visit Covid risk assessed places such as parks, garden etc.
Children strive well when they are having fun while learning. And that is what we do,
We have lots of fun.....
My Experience
Children need a good quality start which will provide a solid foundation for the future. it is therefore my passion to contribute towards the foundation stage of little children.
I am an Level 4 in children and young people workforce holder and I have had experience working with children for 5 years. I have had experiences and the understanding and knowledge in caring and planning activities for children based on their abilities, need and interests. It is my passion and I believe that children need a good quality start to life in other to be stable and happy adult. This is my aim.... have fun while learning
My Qualifications
Early Childhood Studies level 4 Childhood Studies, NVQ Level 3 Diploma for the children and young people's workforce, Early Learning and Childcare Pathway (England), DBS check, First Aid certified, Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene for catering, Safeguarding and child protection officer.
My Availability
I am open from 7am- 6pm Monday to Friday. I am available to open early or later than the usual time depending on request by parents/ carers.

Under Shakirat's guidance, our son developed a wide range of skills, thanks to her daily updates and comprehensive developmental reports. Her professionalism is unmatched.

Shakirat is a very kind and caring childminder. She is active and fun loving. She always strives to provide exciting and educational experiences for the children in her care. She is unbelievably polite and always smiling. My son loved every second that he spent in her care. I would recommend her to any parent. The best childcare setting that my son has attended. I cannot praise her enough for her energy, positive attitude and willingness to make sure my son had an amazing time.

I can't recommend Shakirat enough. She started to look after my daughter when she was 12 months. She is now 16 months and has learnt a lot. Shakirat is fun, loving and caring. She will keep my daughter busy all day (painting, reading, going to the park,...) She is really accomodating.
Her children are absolutly lovely and my daughter loves them. I am so pleased that she is our childminder.
